That new logo will make a perfect design for beer mats.

RIP Terry, thanks for all the good times at Swindon as regards Studley Grange. It was never going to happen anyway, so there will be no effect.
-
That is pretty much what I was looking for minus the logos, thanks for the help

That's what I think will happen tbh. Ipswich will be running 100% and the telling factor is Tom Brennan who hasn't signed elsewhere. Tom would've certainly been snapped up elsewhere if Ipswich didn't give him assurances of the club 100% coming to tapes this year.

Championship Predictions 2026
SteveLyric2 replied to Paddy The Rebel's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Attendance wasn't down but sponsorship was! Season passes were on par. Should have increased admission price last season - as many other clubs did - as they haven't increased for a couple of years. Not bad really considering its one of their main (only) revenue streams. -
R.I.P. Terry. I met him a few times socially and he was good company. I hesitate to ask this, but what effect if any will it have on Swindon Motorsports and their proposals?

Glasgow may make changes if either of the new guys dont work out. -
Reading between the lines the rugby club has paid off the stock cars so they can widen the pitch, astonishing really as something similar happened in the past.

What about Northampton?
PersonalResponsibility replied to RoundTheBoards's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
That's alright, they'll be no worse off than 90% of other clubs in that case 😁 -
Doesn’t the team have to ride so many matches before changes are allowed? Sure this was a rule before but not sure if it’s now scrapped. 25% of matches before a change is allowed rings a bell🤷♂️

Actually, I think that's why we've managed to avoid the regional 'coincidences' we usually get - stuff paying Linda Lusardi her £30 three times! -

What about Northampton?

That's my thoughts you know support is there already so way less financial risk ,then get 2026 out of the way whilst trying to formulate some kind of plan for 2027 all be it given all the issues with doubling up and riders dictating when the club can operate and the top league subsiding the championship to a degree I'm at a loss as to what anything workable could look like. -
Wonder if Cairns or Zischke will end up with the higher average this season? Both are capable of putting a point or two on their starting averages imo.

I doubt he will race here again.

But he hates us. He said so on the official press release when “legend” Louis tried to flog us to that charlatan a few years ago!!! 🙄

well aware thank you
-
Surely it'd be infinitely easier to continue to run Ippo if the sale fell through rather than start a new operation in Northampton

Brian Cant? Keith Deller?

He did at Peterborough. The team there was stronger as crowds were better ,therefore better finance

What about Northampton?
YeOldPitGate replied to RoundTheBoards's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Hopefully Ipswich will get over the line and if it does I would have thought Northampton will be canned as I'm more getting the impression its back up plan z if Ipswich falls through. Some credit is due if its existing prem promoters who are going to underwrite the expected losses to keep the top league going but as 99% of us on here have said at some point they are going to have to accept the current format just doesn't work anymore and the only way forward unless Futures really do come through is paring back the product to most likely championship lite standard and starting again. -
