  2. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/1233187/zuzel-wazna-decyzja-bradyego-kurtza-az-trudno-uwierzyc The Australian signed a contract with Belle Vue Aces , thus becoming the Briton's club partner. From the top eight of the World Championship, Jack Holder and Robert Lambert will also be seen competing for Great Britain. Must be Ipswich, surely.
  3. Richard Coleman, co-owner and Team Principal of MotoGP's Tech3 team, discussed his excitement for the sport's future under Liberty Media in a "Business of Sport" podcast interview, heavily emphasizing MotoGP's business potential while making no mention of his speedway commitments. MotoGP as Top Priority: Coleman portrays MotoGP as an "undervalued sports asset" with massive growth mirroring F1's boom, calling riders "gladiators of the modern age" at 236 mph and focusing extensively on team commercialization, global expansion, and Liberty's $4.9bn investment. He details plans to evolve Tech3 from a "good race team" into a "great racing team" with robust commercial functions, noting the entire MotoGP paddock's marketing resources pale compared to one F1 team like Red Bull's 100+ staff. The full 1+ hour interview centers solely on MotoGP's economics, safety, rider talent, and strategies like cost caps, signaling intense personal focus amid 20+ race weekends, testing, and travel—contrasting sharply with speedway's calendar. Speedway in the Background: Coleman omitted any reference to his Mayfield Sports Events role as FIM Speedway GP promoter from 2026 or rumored Ipswich Speedway ownership, despite recent scrutiny over clashing commitments with MotoGP. Fan and Market Demographics: Coleman rejects MotoGP as purely "blue collar," arguing fans buy £25k Ducati's or Honda's as "luxury products" akin to Rolexes, attracting high-end sponsors beyond oil/tourism—pivoting to "luxury lifestyle" under Liberty. This contrasts speedway's working-class image, as Coleman sees MotoGP's affluent buyers fueling merchandise and team revenue, unlike speedway's grassroots appeal.

  5. I’m with you now. Completely misread it 😂 Going to put the beer down now. 😁
  6. Could be….if they get the timing right .
  7. Well that makes two of us because I can’t understand your response 😕 Im fully aware of how the system works having run teams in the NJL for over 10 years. I was complementing Edinburgh for having an academy that is actually producing riders without which there wouldn’t still be a NJL. It’s just a shame that most of the kids are are too young for the 500’s just yet but I’ll be watching out for Hague etc .
  8. You can only pick 2 riders and we’ve picked 2 from our actual academy. So not entirely sure what you’re on about. 😂
  9. Workington, Scunthorpe, Leicester run regular sessions, Iwade run a few, could probably add I.O.W. ( but not many ). From the sound of it you can now add Buxton, Glasgow and a probably a few at Mildenhall. Not sure what Belle Vue are planning. Duns hasn't been used for a few seasons . Redcar, sadly, no longer run anything. Lack of numbers seem to have made amateur meetings a thing of the past. Even second half events are becoming rare at tracks now. Whilst Im aware of a few private ‘schemes’ that hire tracks to give people a chance to try speedway they seem to be mainly attended by the older generation just wanting to say they've had a go, with the odd kid joining in. Gone are the days when Stoke, Kings Lynn and Scunthorpe ran regular amateur challenge matches at all levels as there were that many riders taking part.
  10. Whilst theres quite a few kids on 125’s thanks to the Edinburgh Acadamy theres not a lot of kids on 500’s to pick from, certainly not enough for all 5 teams so expect a lot of ‘guests’ in that class.
  11. “Many tracks offer opportunities and different organisations offer these to facilitate new riders.” Well DUKES, can you list these ‘ many tracks ‘ ? As theres now only 16/17 tracks in the country and I can think of only around 4 that provide REGULAR sessions, this will improve with the inclusion of Buxton and a few sessions at Glasgow , Mildenhall. Amateur meetings are virtually dead now.
  12. Dependent on location it would make sense, If for example Edinburgh, Glasgow and Workington ran training/practice sessions then working together would make sense so dates didnt clash. Berwick, Buxton and Plymouth i daresay could all run on the same day
  13. Edinburgh announced there team best team this week no passports required refreshing change
  14. Nicolai is putting on a really exciting testimonial. NK Testimonial on Facebook provides all sorts of information. He's also putting on a special event the night (also in King's Lynn, but at The Rathskeller) before where he'll be chatting to fans, alongside Niels-Kristian Iversen and Mads Korneliussen, about their careers. Full details for that at sportingknights.co.uk/events
  15. Yes so rename the league and tell all the waiting riders to find something else to do this year
  16. He did post that his contacts (plural) were signed 🤔 And you'd think that as he's signed for NDL that would exclude him from CL with fixture clashes, so that leaves Monday & Thursday PL 🤔 😂😁
  17. Is this the same for a champ conversion?
  18. Billingham about 10 miles from Redcar
  19. No. An assessed 8.00 is an assessed 8.00 It's not a GSA of 8.00 from 2025, which would attract a 2.5% discount.
  20. I agree. 8.00 - 2.5% British Reduction = 7.80
  21. I wouldn’t be suprised if he did
  22. Haps Adam Roynon is making another comeback.
  23. Ive got 7 bikes and a van and all the riding gear but there isn’t enough werthers origonals or saga holidays to temp me to ride in the leagues again 😂
  24. Can't imagine Lambert getting in on the 7.81 GSA. He only did 6 matches in 2023. All the other matches in that rolling average are 7 years old from 2019. I'd expect him on an assessed 8.00 as a GP rider.
  25. Tungate is very hit and miss full stop. Well overrated and his reliability is questionable at best
