Training opportunities and track time
Triple.H. replied to dukes's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Dependent on location it would make sense, If for example Edinburgh, Glasgow and Workington ran training/practice sessions then working together would make sense so dates didnt clash. Berwick, Buxton and Plymouth i daresay could all run on the same day - Today

Northern Junior League 2026

Edinburgh announced there team best team this week no passports required refreshing change -
I see what you mean now.

Nicolai is putting on a really exciting testimonial. NK Testimonial on Facebook provides all sorts of information. He's also putting on a special event the night (also in King's Lynn, but at The Rathskeller) before where he'll be chatting to fans, alongside Niels-Kristian Iversen and Mads Korneliussen, about their careers. Full details for that at sportingknights.co.uk/events

Yes so rename the league and tell all the waiting riders to find something else to do this year
-
He did post that his contacts (plural) were signed 🤔 And you'd think that as he's signed for NDL that would exclude him from CL with fixture clashes, so that leaves Monday & Thursday PL 🤔 😂😁
-
Someone had to say it
-
Is this the same for a champ conversion?
-
Billingham about 10 miles from Redcar
-
No. An assessed 8.00 is an assessed 8.00 It's not a GSA of 8.00 from 2025, which would attract a 2.5% discount.
-
I agree. 8.00 - 2.5% British Reduction = 7.80
-
I wouldn’t be suprised if he did
-
Haps Adam Roynon is making another comeback.
-
Ive got 7 bikes and a van and all the riding gear but there isn’t enough werthers origonals or saga holidays to temp me to ride in the leagues again 😂
-
Can't imagine Lambert getting in on the 7.81 GSA. He only did 6 matches in 2023. All the other matches in that rolling average are 7 years old from 2019. I'd expect him on an assessed 8.00 as a GP rider.

Tungate is very hit and miss full stop. Well overrated and his reliability is questionable at best
-
I don't know. How much is a big bag of werthers originals?
-
Tungate was very hit and miss round Foxhall even when he rode there for a few seasons, would still rather see Ellis fitted in somewhere rather then Tungate or even King.
-
More chance of Simon than Robert 👍🏻

Nothing new in having an ‘old hand’ as rider/coach. It was commonplace in division two days. Also Lynn need to be competitive to get a big enough crowd to pay the bills. Also, if you read the Kent eagles track review in the Star, you will see how they lament not having such a rider when they came up against a grippy track at Lynn. Not that it was very grippy but it was by Iwade standards.

They can’t afford me these days, my demands are on a par with zmarzlik

What about Northampton?
YeOldPitGate replied to RoundTheBoards's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Spot on its a huge financial risk in an untried area for Speedway support I agree maybe do a few open meetings in 2026 to gauge level of support but as you say its probably going to end being the weakest team out of the six which won't help things and if the supports not there and they get stuffed every week it will just close down at the end of the year with some poor sod 100k lighter. -
Not a bad looking side in the watered down league you would hope Lambert and Tungate could put a point on each the other bar King should maintain current averages, I suppose the other question is can Brennan kick onto the next level which will be a harder step to make.
-
None of the above but we need to attract all these riders back to plug the gap in the rider market but I not going say who has been touted as it’s not my place but I’m told he will be having a practice next week so let’s see,I will say he was the last person I thought it would be I wouldn’t be suprised if it turned out to be wind up

I’m sticking my neck out, James Wright
