My point is I’ve seen the track been deliberately doctored on the outside to prevent him performing his typical Harris moves.
-
It would be much worse if you only had 5.00 to play with, you are fortunate he has done enough meetings for his average to go up considering he is missing meetings. With his current average he has gone above Flint so Howarth and Flint could take a r/r ride, ok not as good as Nagel but Villads has never ridden Poole before so not sure you could say he would have achieved a better score than r/r or a guest.
-
He is always good at Poole, whatever the track is like.
-
Yes, but none of them quite up to the standard Villads is currently showing in my opinion.

Not the times when they deliberately don’t give him some dirt to play with….🙄

What's gone wrong Phil it would appear they are still getting some of the better crowds in Speedway and they were supposed to be backed by a fella with deep pockets ? is it running in three leagues that's balls'ed things up ? -

Although the business model of running 3 teams is somewhat questionable, allegedly that is not the reason for the current shortfall. -

I was at Oxford on Sunday for the worky fixture, thought the championship crowd level was poor around 500 this includes lots in the posh bit behind the glasses, but very patchy on the normal terraces, and this team is slightly more successful than the premiership team. . Have also heard rumours of riders not being paid. -

Problems with SGP
SpeedwayJoe replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Probably a stupid question, but could the way of getting speedway to new foreign audiences be in the way of holding many events over the weekend? Flat track is popular in USA and Spain. Could we have both a speedway GP and flat track GP over a weekend along with other motorcycle events within the weekend? Almost turning it into an X-games style weekend? - Today

I was at the recent cup draw and the witches weren't good enough to win it - so they need to be much better this time! I can see Lynn causing issues tomorrow, after opening with a 5-1 that match the Witches really should have gone onto the win and progress they didn't and that was entirely their own fault in my view for not being good enough. Brennan only got 1 win in his score of 3 and Ellis was below par - has been much better of late so it all points to maybe a home win! -

Blodorn at No6 too, he should end up close to a 4.5 average this season... Alternative yo-yo ing from Reserve to 2nd string should put his average up a decent amount... Magic on around 5.9 not a bad shout either for big home wins... -

Yes, but... I dare say that if Peterborough and Wolverhampton were still in operation then Oxford would still be riding in the CL & NDL only. They came "up" with Birmingham when the 2 aforementioned clubs ceased operation to make the numbers up for a viable PL to operate and keep the TV people happy. -

It was their own business decision and was almost heralded as being a great idea as it meant "weekly Speedway", which for so many (who don't have to actually fork out for weekly Speedway), seemed almost utopia at the time... The reality is that the "novelty" of their return has worn off as it always naturally does at every new track, and paying for sometimes two meetings a week, (more if fans go away too), will always be a challenge... Just the two leagues next year? 2nd and 3rd tier? -
Becker scored 11 from 5 in Sweden last night, beating all of Lejonen top 5 (Madsen, MJJ, Nilsson, Chugunov and Drabik) - encouraging for Lions.

From Day 1 I said it wasn't financially viable to run in all three leagues. Higher ups need to take some responsibility in this as well imo and maybe they should help Oxford out financially. -
