I'm just very concerned with what I've seen so far. I gave Mayfield the benefit of the doubt pre-season because what they were saying was true, However I just can't understand how they've failed to act when it comes to Jonas Jeppesen and Jason Doyle. They've had two opportunites to show ambition and they've failed to act which makes me question Mayfield's vision for the club. Is this just a rescue job to save the PREMIERSHIP from total collapse to a point where Ipswich as a Club have to suffer the consequences of that in regards to budget 1-7's who just compete for the sake of competing? So far, For all of Mayfield's talk, All I've seen from them is watching Tom Brennan's confidence get shattered to pieces whilst serving up a Hellstrom-Bangs / Ed Kennett fiasco where they stated that Hellstrom-Bangs would be sacked if Kennett done a half decent job only to sack Kennett before a wheel was turned due to commitment issues. I've done this song and dance before where I bought into talk rather than actions (Michael Tomalin) and so far Mayfield remind me of him where they said all of the right things but eventually nothing came of it.

Well, at least they have listened to allow cash and card on the night. Just need to get things sorted on track now.

Coleman has actually said very little! The most vocal he’s been has been his public support for the riders over the insurance fiasco, and good on him for that.
-
Not harsh at all sorry. Were you expecting more from those three? Fair play if you were, I wasn’t. Nicholls and Bangs were appalling there earlier in the season, which is a far better guide than anything they done there “years ago”. I know you have a soft spot for Nicholls, but it’s time to accept that the pace needed on the bigger tracks has long gone for him.

If anything Coleman has been ultra measured in his public comments... He knows the sport is a sh*tshow in the UK, but has been very diplomatic in his views on it... Whilst still making it clear what he really feels of how the sport is ran... He comes across as someone well versed in using political diplomacy to achieve his aims... Nice to see someone in the sport of this level..

To be fair, it's probably more (some) people on here talking Mayfield up rather than Mayfield themselves 👍

As soon they said there is more clay in it my head dropped, no wonder tracks are getting worse and cannot cope with the weather, but of course shale costs money and clay is much cheaper, never mind the fact the actual track is your biggest asset. As others have said, the racing here is not as good as it used to be, Lynn used to have quite a reputation for being one of the best tracks in the Country. -
I don't think you sign Fricke if there is 'zero ambition'. Castagna and Cook are the main issues at present along with the track surface, and I suspect there's a culture of everybody turning up on a Monday/Thursday evening and hoping it'll all come together. The whole thing definitely needs some fresh impetus.

And that wont change while stock cars provide the majority of the income. They could at least though prepare it the same two weeks running so Lynn riders don't look so uncomfortable. -

what specially has he said then? Cos from my perspective he's not really gone overboard with any hyperbole etc. -
I agree about Holder and Ward was a special talent but I was never a NP fan I really don't like riders who overtly ride in manner that is plainly dangerous ( particularly to his fellow competitors )I don't dispute his ability or achievements just the way in which he has conducted himself during his career .

While they're hammering the likes of Ippo & Leicester like they are they're easily going to pickup the bonus and seem pretty unbeatable over 2 legs of a play off (at the moment)

I get it and I'm not calling them out, all I'm saying is talk is cheap. Promote your club\event, introduce your changes and then sing it from the hilltops 📢

I think that's a bit harsh on some of the riders, it's only a few years since Scott got 14 at the NSS and Bangs did ok in the world cup or whatever it's called plus Lawson has also done ok there before. When you miss the start you're not going to overhaul a Belle Vue rider, as King and Musielak found out. You have to give credit to Belle Vue, their riders are so good around there I don't see them being beaten, it's their away performances that will be key to winning the title this season, which I think they will. It's a game of two halves so let's see what happens Thursday but I still think King and Nicholls should swap riding positions.

A proper thrashing - only Danny emerges with credit really but move on! -
He’s been here less than four months Iain.

He is hardly going to come in and say - well everyone i intend to run this into the ground, but as ever people have the attention spans of gnats and expect success to be achieved with either no investment or overnight. Why everyone is judging them after 3 months and that's why we are on our 7th PM in 10 years! -

If they hadn't have taken over the series then who would have? I really do wonder what goes through peoples minds sometimes do they not see the evidence in front of them? - the GB SGP has gone from Cardiff to Belle Vue and the Danish one from Parken to Vojens - think people think!! The speedways of nations was a terribly badly attended event the other year even the final had a half empty stadium in Poland! There is periodic calls to re-run one down under - completely overlooking the fact that each time one has been run the event has lost shedloads for the relevant promoters!
