  1. Past hour
  2. Track was not good at all tonight as explained by Buster.Rained quite a bit today as my daughter rang me wondering whether it was still on as she was working in Lynn. Then the heavy downpour near 4pm put paid to any kind of racing. This definitely suited the fast gating Lions. No grip around bends 3+4 where Bomber normally makes his moves. It showed how different the track was when Kemp and NKI got the scores they did. Buster explained they they put dust down to soak up the rain water but this then left pockets in the track where some didn't soak in.The track then had most of the shale pulled off and then we was left with what we got.FTG in pretty much every race which was inevitable, just remember NKI passing Kemp.
  3. Sheffield could find a second wind after their rejig. We'll see. Aces have been too weak at reserve all season. It's likely to be Witches v Lions final, is Becker likely to be fit? Becker's average is way above Masters' so R/R works But who are the candidates from Brummies, Spires & Stars who can guest? Considering Lions went with guest rather than R/R for KO Cup they may do the same in the playoffs.
  4. He has but in fairness the broken scaphoid derailed his season and he’s taken a little while to get back up to speed which is understandable. He was second or third in our averages I think up to that point and riding superbly.
  5. Absorbing contest for once a great meeting on TV - well done both sides but heck Belle Vue needed more from the reserves and Blodorn! race of the night had to be Dan T showing Kurtz home! He’s had a tricky 2-3 weeks and that was a great win for him!
  6. Brennan has definitely had his bad days but I thought he was excellent tonight and so was King, Ellis is the only one that could be deserving criticism.
  7. They both rode well, your reserves are far superior to those at Belle Vue. Zach rode very well to pass Brennan, not Brennans fault in my opinion and to get paid 8 is a great score from him. More of a worry for Ipswich is Adam Ellis.
  8. I know you are Ipswich lol… when I was referring to had no Lidsey I was talking about Lemon meaning you had no Lidsey but your top boys rode 6 times Brennan and Ellis maybe but Danny King has been fantastic all season
  9. What was the verdict on Morris? Decent score, but think he was gifted some of those points?
  10. And artem laguta, they didnt want to advance Russian imperialism.
  11. Whilst I enjoy watching the Lions away, it’s probably as well that TNT or BSN didn’t cover this. The Updates site suggests this was a s*it show from Lynn and wouldn’t have been worth paying to watch. Some might question The Star’s timing and choice of a T/S, but in all honesty it was always going to mean diddly squat on the meeting outcome. Although Dickson was probably quite surprised how easily Lynn rolled over, he will be keeping a close eye on their riders from here on with a view to potential guest options for the play offs. At this stage though, none of them would be worth approaching as an alternative to the continued use of R/R for Becker.
  12. After the last few disastrous seasons I think you've had a pretty solid season, with a good cup run and a final, certainly something to build on, who knew somebody like Ben Cook would let you down so badly.
  13. YOU had no lidsey? I’m not a Belle Vue and I hate Lidsey so he isn’t for me 😂 You were replying to just this meeting by the sounds of it. I was saying king, Brennan and Ellis has been average majority of the season. Not just talking about tonight.
  14. awful performance hope the season doesnt just fade away now big changes needed for next year
  15. I’d have took 8 from Tom before meeting Ellis I felt a bit sorry for …. Decent first race then came up against Bewley and Kurtz … should have beaten Blodorn in heat 10 I agree but was leading heat 14 when it was stopped … on another night would have had 5 or 6 If you told me King would get 7 plus 1 from 4 I would have been happy but to think he beat Kurtz and lost to Blodorn and Mulford shows his inconsistency Doyle and Ellis low scores didn’t help us and Edwards openly admits he hates the place No work to be done we can lose by 8 at Belle Vue but still beat them at home by more so 45-45 is fantastic result Sour grapes from Lemon… the fact you had no Lidsey meant the top boys had 6 rides …
  16. You might wanna check some of king and Brennan decision making. Just because they got near their average they still dropped valuable points with poor decisions. How our fans are writing off Belle Vue and Sheffield is crazy. Did you see how we folded against Lynn.
  17. All a bit irrelevant against Belle Vue really. The name of the game here was just to make a decent fist of it because the aggregate bonus would be bagged at Foxhall. In the plays offs if the two clubs meet at any stage, I’m confident of beating Belle Vue over two legs if we stay injury free. Leicester still the bigger danger currently but have they peaked a bit early?
  18. Kings Lynn need to sign that rider FTG, he almost went through the card tonight according to the updates! So glad they got to show what they can do on a proper track with no "dodgy" refereeing decisions 😉
  19. I wonder if @Bagpuss opened his curtains to watch this one 😉😁 At least the weather would have kept the dust down for @tellboy 😉😁
  20. Brennan rode well, Zach was terrific all night. King rode well too and so did Dan T. Only Leicester can stop you winning the title.
  21. Nope, it's a chance to see another race with the top riders, adding to the value for money.
