so berwick need one of their top 4 to have a mare,so the french guy can take a ride.this will eat into at least 2 non productive rides for the bandits before they can use him.. still strong, bur not strong enough.

One or two may have been saying the same kind of things this time lasy year, and look what happened. The 4s is all down to what happens on the day,get it right and any team can win.

Doyle will now miss this meeting due to the SWC. Presume Newman will be in (Wonder what they'll do about a reserve with Nielsen and Perry injured).

Knowing the rulebook its probably an EL guest with an average between 5.623 and 6.523

Though if thats a GSA or rolling average that will be up to the management committee to decide,1st heat will start about 2hrs late due to all the arguments.

Seriously it should be a PL rider upto Kyle Newmans ave,or more likely a NL rider

Got to be a NL rider surely.

Edit - just had a thought - leave Newman at reserve and use r/r!

What an absolute farce, whose brilliant idea was it to pick the date for the Fours on WC weekend,

What an absolute farce, whose brilliant idea was it to pick the date for the Fours on WC weekend,

This is a PL meeting, programmed on a rest-day in the World Cup programme.

In this case a PL rider happens to be in such extreme form that he is picked for a WC team, AND the World Cup meeting is rained-off...

Farce? No, just an extremely unlikely combination of circumstances.

not really, just shows how lucky you are to have a rider of Doyle's calibre.

Surely Somerset with Doyle must have been one of the favourites, tough for the Rebels now. I agree , stupid time to run it over the World Cup weekend. With Newman in do we still qualify ?

Real possibility of more Rebel silverware ruined by the weather.......in Poland!! What are the chances...?

Can't we have a guest for Doyley? Ostergaard, Screen or even Bech Jensen would do.

Great team, great fans, great track. Don't think luck comes into it.
