King's Lynn Stars 2014

Recommended Posts

Nice to see us with 5 assets of our own in the team, and 2 borrowed from the BSPA.

Iversen is a Peterborough asset as is Bjerre. Schlein is still a Coventry asset isn't he

Serious question - are all your Danes riding in the Danish League??

Think they will all feature in the Danish League at some time but it hasn't been a problem for NKI in the past has it ?

As for comparing Lamert with past 16 year old sensations that were looked at as future World Champions lets not forget David Howe, Savalas Clouting, Leigh Lanham, Chris Cobby, Scott Nicholls, Lewis Bridger, Joe Haines, Daz Sumner, Dean Standing, Paul Whittaker, John Wison and who can forget ..... Justin Elkins !!

Let the lad get on with his career and see where he is in five years time

Can't wait for March 2014! Neeeeeeed my fix ha!

Really pleased and proud that we have these 3 local guys in the team, there is no doubt about it, they will always receive that little extra support being 'homies' O:-)

More than happy to welcome Niels, Rory and Niklas back :-)

We have to be well pleased that Niels enjoys racing in this country enough to include the BEL in what must be a mahoosive racing itinerary!!! As we know there are plenty of riders out there who haven't got that loyalty or who can't be arsed with our league!!! I'd say to our promoters DON'T give those guys any extra practise in individual meetings at the start of our season, they don't deserve it ie this invitational meeting at Coventry at the start of next season that was referred to last night! Look after the guys who are putting themselves out to race here!!!!

I remain sorry that our 2013 captain isn't back for a fourth year, he deserved a berth for all the value added he gave the club. Also Kozza, who will always be Star of the fans!

There are no Peterborough assets, they are currently administered by the BSPA.

When is the Heat format being released, can't be Rocket Science can it?

It may be a little harder than you think, to come up with a format that keeps the reserves away from the Heat Leaders and also gives everyone a start from each of the gate positions.

Give it a try and see what you can come up with?

It was announced Thursday that the Peterborough assets are frozen and administrated by the BSPA. No finance is issued to the current and or potential owners in 2014

That may be true, but they will remain Boro assets if a new owner is established. Edinburgh have just thanked Frost and Mahoney for their assistance in signing Vissing..

We named our 1 - 7 last night and Vissing wasn't one of them!

Must of missed that bit seeing as he's gone to Berwick  also no mention of Peterborough's promotion in the press release

BANDITS CONFIRM THE VISSING LINK

on 14 December 2013.

Berwick Bandits are delighted to confirm their fourth signing for next season. He is 27-year old Claus Vissing, from Grinsted, Denmark. Claus has been anxious to link with Berwick for some time, but as his contract was to an extent in limbo after the closure of parent club Peterborough, it was only late on Friday that full permission was given for him to link with the Bandits (on loan from the BSPA) and his personal contracts were signed and registered. Claus spent 2013 with Edinburgh, and was impressive on visits to Shielfield, both with the Monarchs and in the season's opening Ben-Fund Bonanza, when he finished runner-up. He joins us with an average of 6.89, and will add experience and enthusiasm to our side.

I find that a little random seeing as Berwick's official site has no mention of the Panthers promotion, in fact confirming terms were agreed with the BSPA.

It's from the BSPA website today, hardly random. Not sure what point you are trying to make here tbh, we all know the bspa are administrating the Boro assets at the moment..

No, he is a Kings Lynn asset.

I told him this about a week ago when he posted that we could have used Rory at Coventry. Another man who never takes any notice or listens to a woman. The World is full of them and that's the reason women have to do a lot of what men call 'nagging'.
