Congratulation to Niels on winning the Danish SGP at the weekend. Also to Troy Batchelor, a real surprise to everyone. I know Troy don't run for us anymore but both riders performances and connections help in keeping Kings Lynn name to the fore in world of speedway.............

Must say, It can't get any better for a top rider to win his country's own GP. Well Done Niels... A truly epic performance.........

Apparently, young Robert Lambert has become the youngest rider to score a maximum for King's Lynn in the top league beating Michael Lee's record.

Could he be the youngest in the top league altogether???

Id say he must be. He is what - under three months past 16?

Would be interested to see the scorecard of lee's first max and who he beat en route to it.

I have a guess it was a lot better than the riders Robert beat but it's still a good achievement as you can only beat what you're riding against.

Michael Lee's First paid maximum for Kings Lynn was in a 52-26 home win against Hackney on Sat July 26 1975. Lee's age at that time was 16yrs 207 days.

Bettsy also went through the card that night in what proved a relatively easy win.

Lee followed that with his first Full maximum for Boston Cudas the following night against Mildenhall .

His third a final maximum in that first year was his best, when riding against top team Reading in a close encounter on the Oct 11 1975, beating top names Dave Jessup and John Davies in his last ride to secure his first full score......

Good to hear Team Lewis is back on track, Anyone know if Porsing rode at the weekend? Will he be ready to ride Wednesday or are we using a guest.

Edit: Just read on Twitter, Porsing scored a 15pts max:: https://twitter.com/NicklasPorsing.

Seems it's all systems go again.

Without going through posts here and elsewhere, can someone explain how Kings Lynn have guests for Niklas Porsing at Wolverhampton (June 23) and at home to Eastbourne (June 26) when he is riding in Denmark on June 25 ?

He decided to give Wolves a miss and rode in Denmark as you say on the Tuesday. When interviewed at the Lynnv Eastbourne match he said it was really sore afterwards and he failed a fitness test prior to the Wednesday meeting, hence the late call to Auty.
