YerRopes 3,009 Posted November 30, 2013 Have to disagree on the last point - I know a lot of people who would want to see a world champion and Chris was very deserving. Freddie hasn't ever looked like equalling that status and I'm afraid his boat has sailed. Holder every time for me! Freddie for me Steve, he has done it over the long term whilst Chris has a way to go to match that.. Doesn't really matter though, both are top riders (and sadly both will be missing next year)..

Freddie will never win it in a month of Sunday's imo..

foreverblue 6,096 Posted December 1, 2013 (edited) Try Holloway Road. And holloway road is miles away from highbury I suppose!Affluent area!! Didnt realise holloway road was in kensington!! Edited December 1, 2013 by foreverblue
Skidder1 7,637 Posted December 1, 2013 Very dismissive of Freddie. He still has time on his side and is genuine World Class. His time is still to come IMHO. Is that in Freddie's World? Wayne's World? or Wally World? Flattered to deceive too often for me. Great servant of the EL though!!

Well if memory serves me right, wasn't this the same poster who proudly proclaimed that David Howe was a nailed on World Champion in waiting! The Doctor... 1,478 Posted December 1, 2013 And holloway road is miles away from highbury I suppose! Affluent area!! Didnt realise holloway road was in kensington!! I think you'll find Islington is affluent. This isn't the place for carrying this on, but the point was simply that foreverblue or whatever it's name is, was carrying on like a know all, when in truth, they actually knew squat. Hodgy 976 Posted December 1, 2013 Rubbish. David Howe wouid never be a World Champion.. Having watched him from his early days there were many that thought he may go to the top of the sport. Never made the top table, as most don't. Some because of ability and many for financial constraints. Sorry if my opinion upset you.

Doesn't upset me, you may be right, but i never saw that type of abillity in him, and i to had been watching him from his early days..
Had Enough 233 Posted December 1, 2013 Hi Starnan - did you ever explain why you think Poole has the fastest track? Genuinely wondering how that assertion can be made ...
Skidder1 7,637 Posted December 1, 2013 I think its the speed of the riders rather than the speed of the track!!
