G the Bee 639 Posted January 17, 2014 I thought I read on here that new rules had been agreed. If the rider is an asset of the EL club, the EL fixture takes priority, otherwise it is the PL fixture that takes priority (unless the PL fixture is a re-arranged fixture). Assuming those rules have been implemented, Coventry on Good Friday, as far as I can see, will not be affected. Looking at the BSPA website, Fisher is the only rider with a clash as Workington (Howarth) and Rye House (Garrity) are not riding on that day. Fisher is a Bees asset, so his Bees fixture takes priority in this instance. For Bees at Leicester on Easter Saturday, Howarth has a fixture clash as Workington are at Berwick. However, Rye House are not riding, so Garrity should be ok to ride for Bees. So over the two days, Bees should only be missing one rider in their away fixture. 2ndbendbeerhut 1,781 Posted January 17, 2014 Sorry just Newman for Poole, as Workington are one of only 3 PL clubs not riding (Rye House and Berwick) other 2.

MattK 3,447 Posted January 18, 2014 Same s**t, different season. Anyone know the rule for replacing reserves? Can you pick any available rider from the pool or does it have to be a pool rider who isn't allocated to another EL club?

tonyd 165 Posted January 18, 2014 Same s**t, different season. A quote thats heard every year on the terraces and one that I that feel needs to be printed in bold lettering on the front cover of the speedway rule book. (is there still a genuine speedway rule book ?)

If there IS - I can think of some Crap Rules that should be scrapped forthwith. Edited January 18, 2014 by The White Knight
