It might depend on how much 'celebrating' Cameron Woodward does in Torun tonight??!!:wink:

What a shocking line up for Birmingham.... going to be a tanking.

I totally agree with you Eddie. I'm finding it harder to justify spending money on speedway these days, weakened line ups, stupid rules and a race format that will take a few weeks to get used to, and the season has only just begun!

So in Kennett's case a PL challenge takes preference but not in Barker's case!

Same for Panthers, we are missing Blackbird and Jacobs (both EL fixtures tonight) whilst Kennett and Lambert are riding for Rye in a CH rather than Brum in an EL fixture, its bloody ridiculous, either official fixtures take precedence or they dont.

depends on who signed them 1st as they get priority if there not respective assetts of those clubs

The Plymouth v Somerset challenge meeting also sees Barker released from Plymouth to ride for Brum tonight but Paul Starke not released by Somerset to ride for Brum in the same EL fixture?

A catalogue of double up rider availability inconsistencies in just one evening of speedway!

Irrespective of that, a league match should take priority over a challenge but in this enlightened age it seems that PL teams are having to give "special permission" for "their" d/u riders to appear in EL matches. Just another blow to the claims by some that the PL is the better league.

I always thought it was club asset first, then PL club 2nd if not asset?

It shouldn't matter who the rider is an asset of or who they signed for first, official fixtures should take precedence over challenge matches every single time, irrespective of league.

Benji Compton - Elite League rider!

'nuff said.

Reserves aren't EL riders, that's the point.
