S W C - Who Will Be Picked For Uk

Recommended Posts

Bridger did well in th run off last season at Prague and did better than Barker. Cant remember the points tally for each rider.

Cook will struggle at KL.

Cook scored 10+2 at Lynn the other week beating Bjerre, Schlein, Lambert and Porsing. Id have him in the side.

Cant really think who to pick as none are top level riders and so hot and cold meeting to meeting in form.

Good to see Lambert scored a 5 ride paid max yesterday, wonder if Rosco could think about giving him that 4th spot with it being on his home track?

After watching Chris Harris in Copenhagen I feel little point in including him in the Kings Lynn round the team I'd pick is Tai , Cook , R Worrell and Robert Lambert - these riders are the future - Harris has 20 SGP points from 6 rounds so why include him in the team ? The team Rosco will pick will no don't include Harris and Danny King .

Harris has a good record in the SWC and as it stands is one of GB's four best riders. If Rosco picks a team with an eye on the future then he won't be in it but if he picks the strongest possible quartet then Harris must ride.

Lets hope Harris does not take his SGP form into the SWC. He is beyond woeful !!!!

If Rosco picks a team for the future he won't be in the job long enough to reap any benefits. Play your best team on the day - far too soon for some riders mentioned. Woffy, Cook, Harris, Barker. Not a lot beyond that - King and Bridger rarely perform on the bigger stage. Nicholls would have made us look a tad stronger.

whatever is the point in picking Barker ? As for Harris he can only live off the back of that Cardiff win for so long - he's been woeful in the GPS 20 points from 6 rounds Kildemand got 15 in one - sorry time to go youth the team of Woffy Cook R Worrell and Robert Lambert is the team I'd go for As for Rosco Woffy Harris Cook are dead certs the 4th team place Is anyone's guess but surly not Barker.

Really? Worrell and Lambert are not ready. A bit unfair on Harris, maybe inconsistent over the past few seasons but 3 British Champion titles, League success and some great battling performances in past World Team cups - much more than just Cardiff 2007. How many points do you think the mentioned youngsters would have after the 6 GP rounds? At least he gives it a go knowing his best days are behind him - unlike a certain Rusky.

Barker, like or dislike, will out score most we have to choose from (granted not a lot of choice). He can, on his day, be an entertainer.

There is no long term planning in Speedway, who knows where it will be next year, month or even week. Pick the team that will give you the best chance to progress - it will still be a job to qualify.

If it's a Worrall you want it's Steve not Richie.

serious? if you are standing on the terrace at addlebow, check your programme, would you REALLY see Richie as a better choice to harris? im no harris fan, but hes done enough around that track to warrant a pick out of our dismal crop

Totally disagree if Rosco told people his preference will be to give youth a chance we will give him a bit of slack i certainly will.If he goes same old same old and fails i certainly won't my team for what it is worth would be Tai, Harris,Cook,Lambert.
