broadsider 55 33 Posted July 9, 2014 Going over old ground but he shouldn't have been in the draft as once again tonight has shown by him getting a paid maximum in races against National Lge riders & beating Palm-Toft who rides at reserve when he guests in the Premier Lge.lets be fair the whole draft thing is a joke I like kyle hes a good lad but when was the last time he scored a paid max in the premier , same as kerr 2nd in the averages whos going to give him a team place next year on an 8 point average , its not the riders fault but im afraid the whole system was yet another half baked idea,

Crazy robin 2,966 Posted July 9, 2014 Fast track riders won't start next season on the averages they finish on this year. Well the top 5 should only be allowed a place in the main body of the team on a 3 point average in that case.
Bagpuss 10,814 Posted July 9, 2014 The sensible course of action would be to prohibit the likes of Kerr, Blackbird, Newman, Wright, Worrall etc from being FTR's next season and use the usual conversion calculation from PL to EL to give them an EL starting average.
BluTiger 21,708 Posted July 9, 2014 Good to see Newman regaining his form, the lad needs an injury free run to fulfill his potential. Looked very fast at the Showground before his unfortunate accident earlier in the year..

That makes sense because they cannot ride next season on their actual averages they get this season, that's fair enough but they cannot remain fast track riders with no average forever as well so something has to be done to create a "true " average for them ...where do the new fast track reserves come from then.....it could all get messy this
markyb 323 Posted July 10, 2014 Yet again a poor score from Craig Cook - seems to choke when it comes to Elite league or racing against anyone half decent.
semion 2,192 Posted July 10, 2014 Only 3 pages for a Poole home meeting. Has Dorset fell out of love with Matty and His Pirates ?

Skidder1 7,658 Posted July 10, 2014 (edited) Top notch stuff from Kyle Newman Yes a good performance all round (almost) and especially from Kyle - its amazing what a word in the ear from your boss or an article in the local press achieves sometimes!!!! A few of us had our concerns over Shamek who seems as though he maybe carrying some sort of muscle or rib injury - he certainly isn't as comfortable on the bike in the past few weeks!! Incidentally, met a chap from Cradley visiting the area with his wife for a few days and he also enjoyed the meeting. A big Darcy Ward fan too!! Fast track riders won't start next season on the averages they finish on this year. Now you know you shouldn't make sensible comments on here GB - it is a Poole thread after all!!!! Looks like Darcy & the Poole boys have a plan with the averages. What plan would that be exactly CR? Edited July 10, 2014 by Skidder1
stevebrum 6,827 Posted July 10, 2014 Yet again a poor score from Craig Cook - seems to choke when it comes to Elite league or racing against anyone half decent. He didn't choke last season so has already proved he can do it. The aces really are dire away. But bet they come to Monmore next week and win! Only 3 pages for a Poole home meeting. Has Dorset fell out of love with Matty and His Pirates ? The resident troll is still in sulking tho.
