oldtimer 340 Posted July 28, 2014 (edited) Once a rider signs in to a SWC meeting he can't ride anywhere else whilst he is still involved in the completion Who made that rule? Stead will miss Somerset V Sheffield 29/7, Plymouth V Sheffield 1/8 and King misses Redcar V Newcastle 31/7, and Worrall misses Somerset v Ipswich 1/8. If Saturday's final is rained off and run on the Sunday, as has happened before, riders will miss the 4's on Sunday, as happened to Somerset when Doyle was missing. Obviously it must be impossible (WHY?) to re arrange fixtures to avoid riders absences, as otherwise it would have been done. Cannot see why they cannot ride as they normally race many nights a week, another stupid rule.

Neither of which give a flying f@&t for British speedway

Panthers89 1,922 Posted July 28, 2014 A lot depends on dads army in the middle order for Sheffield IMO, Rebels win by 2.
Bagpuss 10,846 Posted July 28, 2014 As a GB fan if Stead rode tonight and picked up an injury which ruled him out of Saturday's final I'd be a little cheesed off. You don't see footballers playing for their club side during THE World Cup!
Crazy robin 2,971 Posted July 28, 2014 So Brady Kurtz becomes the 30th future World Champion in the view of Nigel Pearson. Why does he keep on saying it at nearly every Sky meeting.

He's going to be correct at one stage, and least he hasn't said David Howe yet

Panthers89 1,922 Posted July 28, 2014 He's not tried to get Covatti a job tonight yet either! Still a few heats to go yet Some good heats so far, certainly no different to the Elite League shown so far, with a few good heats here and there.
