A predictable move and did wonder if it might have been J Sedgmen, a good young rider.

I think it's down to availability. Sedgmen would have missed four of our final eight meetings, whereas Summers is available for all of them.

Coventry fans will be pleased as they were worried he was heading their way

Prefer Michelsen, Buszkowski, Bjarne or even Howarth for the Bees but Summers will improve the Swindon side.

Summers is a good signing although i actually thought Krcmar was starting to show some improvement but i fully understand the need to change, Summers is a good rider who certainly knows his way round Coventry if needed for the play offs.

Does this mean that Summers has thrown away a full season's doubling up income in 2017 for a handful of matches this autumn?

The rules change so much that who knows what might happen in the future.

A good time to put himself in the shop window again & earn some money back from what he's spent on equipment.

Can you change a rider who is on an assessed average? I'm certain you couldn't in previous seasons, had the rule been changed?

Edit: Doesn't matter apparently it has been changed.

Yes. It didn't even last one season. They brought it in about 3 years ago and about 4 teams (including Coventry) broke it. It was dropped soon after

Come on every one! This is not good.

Surely there must be some way Swindon are cheating here. Surely!!

Yes I remember when Coventry broke the rule a few years back, I did highlight it at the time. Didn't realise it was soon changed.
