5 Friday tracks out of 13 in the PL and Lakeside on a Friday too and with priority = no PL for Adam IMO

Eh? In case you didn't notice Garrity and Serjeant both ride EL on a Friday and have PL teams (although Garrity didn't start the season in the PL)

The simple fact is that there are not enough riders for the number of teams we have in the UK.

Doubling up, fast track reserves-papers over the cracks

Are there any other sports where a player (roder/driver) rides for two teams in the same country?

Garrity gave up his original place - possibily because of priority issues and Sarjeant was such a bargain 3 pointer it was worth the downsides.

I believe that had Adam not been drafted with Lakeside and/or wasnt priorised to the EL that he wouldve had a PL place this year.

Rugby. Players play super 15 for one team and npc for another though seasons do not run concurrently. When nz had its national football championship in the summer players would have a winter team and a summer team.

Edited to add some rugby players might also play club grade rugby as well

Thanks for the information.

On that basis, nothing like speedway's muddle.

I'd heard that Adam had a couple of late PL offers but it would have meant dropping the Brummies in the poo one week before the start of the season. Also under current rules he's limited to what he can accept in the way of guest bookings etc.

Any word from Lakeside on if they are going to bring in a replacement for Birks?

With them only being able to use riders below him as guests, it limits them a lot. Going to get even more restricted soon as they have used Wilkinson & J Wright 3 times already so only able to use them as guests on one more occasion.

Worrying times for Lakeside fans. Let's hope that there is some good news and that the long term future of the club can be secured.

Hopefully, it will be good news but, if Lakeside close, what happens to the 'Elite League'?

It'll be sickening if they want to take up the area for building, there is motocross too, can't we have room for motorcycles in this country ffs!
