Totally echo the wish for a good recovery.Would be good to see him bow out on his own terms rather than being forced by injury. It does however bring into focus the MC decision to sanction him as a replacement as it significantly enhances the r/r / guest /new rider options . Given the nature of the sport shoulder dislocations are one of the worst injuries IMO .It does show up the flaw in the the rules but Hey Ho nothing new there in Speedway. not worth worrying about, the Team that can utilise the guests best will win the league anyway. In a perfect world you would, but with Stead been the top rider in the Premier League for about the last 15 months replacing a rider of that class is difficult. Our no1 just dropped to reserve , you have to get on with it, and so should every other team. Sending Ty Proctor home on a technicality was a nonsense, perhaps the points limit for overseas riders should be lowered to 5.50, would still keep the likes of Campton out but would mean some of the better Australians could still come here and bolster the PL. yorkshiretyke 59 Posted June 29, 2015 Think Sheffield have in the main utilised the guest facility for Steady really well this season, however nobody can replace him both for his scores and leadership within the pits.
