Gazc 7,179 Posted September 4, 2015 Yeh right. Tero has been riding with broken ribs for several weeks now. Anybody who stands near the pits will visibly see how much pain he has been in after races. Two meetings on the same day not surprisingly took its toll. He's done amazingly well to score the points he has. I wouldn't bother even replying to that he is one off blinkered vision and the reason he say's what he does is to get a reaction let's be honest most riders struggle to get round the toy track.

NJC71 388 Posted September 4, 2015 Don't know what's gone on but we couldn't get a guest? For a KO Cup Semi-Final? What a shambles.
screm 8,075 Posted September 4, 2015 Don't know what's gone on but we couldn't get a guest? For a KO Cup Semi-Final? What a shambles. I am sure there would've been an argument for the interests of speedway, failing that surely Newcastle could've gone down the dodgy burger route, its well tried and tested in the Armadale area I understand. PaulS 55 Posted September 4, 2015 Surely we would have been better off redeclaring and including Lewis Rose? In good form before crash and knows his way around Brough. Tero more than capable of riding in main body...
NJC71 388 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) Well whatever the circumstances the Diamonds line-up tonight, as it was at Plymouth, it is totally unacceptable and is cheating the paying public. This is 24 hours after ridiculous line-ups at Redcar where both sides resembled PL selects. The BSPA must now surely recognise that efforts have to be completely focussed on increasing the number of British riders taking part in the sport. They have to stop burying their heads in the sand and continually tell us that the annual conference has been a success and the future is exciting. It's not and hasn't been for years and nothing has been done about it other than the introduction of stupid rules like the TR which just alienate fans. It will take years and years to turn speedway around, the seeds should have been sown years ago. If nothing is done soon we simply won't have a sport to watch before too long. Tsunami 10,219 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) Well whatever the circumstances the Diamonds line-up tonight, as it was at Plymouth, it is totally unacceptable and is cheating the paying public. But Neil, when they did tackle the problem, and introduced the Fast Track system, they were roundly criticised as it being too late, and it would not work. This despite both Poland and Sweden having an identical system to bring their riders on. The shortage of riders has been well known for the last couple of years, and leagues have been diluted accordingly. Again criticism that we should be going in the opposite direction, and should be spending more imaginary money, and bringing back the big guns in the EL. Promoters can't win regardless of what they do, but you must know there is a lot going on on a weekly basis to help help kids riding, getting experience and being good enough at some time to take a team place. Look at the NL, NJL. MDL, training schools, the new Poultec apprenticeship initiative, second halfs, the British Youth Championships(incidentally a round is on tomorrow at Redcar. There are kids riding your track every week as well. A lot IS going on and will eventually bring more British youngsters into the sport, if they are given track time. ruffdiamond 6,115 Posted September 4, 2015 I think the result after two legs depends on Lindgren . done his bit in the 1st leg anyway,,, that should guarantee his title of 'best overall performer away from home 2015'
