No Weegies At The Dump?!

Recommended Posts

Cant be many other sports where it's left to the clubs to sort out fixtures . The BSPA should have announced the dates for the final after it was known who the finalists were , but instead we have this nonsense again where a club finds itself with a free week and it's supporters have a moan because nobody will agree to fill that date for them .

All the competition semis and finals had dates allocated to them specifically, done I might add by John Campbell at the start of the season so it's somewhat surprising that this issue has again arisen this year.

people on this and other forums complain about the woes of speedway- to many guests, rider replacement doesn't always work and anyway causes delays to meetings, why don't promoters promote and sell the sport, the season should build up to a climax not be a damp squib, etc etc. And yet we have some people on here suggesting lets put on a cup final 1st leg at a weeks notice when both teams will need r/r and maybe a guest

Heard from an official club source that we can't be arsed riding on Friday and there's a big p155 up at the Tigers Den instead.

Makes perfect sense to me.

Just a wee thread for the Moanarchs to have a whinge about Glasgow . They have a free Friday and their fans are disappointed , but on the brightside it's all Glasgow's fault

Would of liked to have had the second leg but retaining one of our 3 trophies at Ashfield sounds slightly more appealing.
