Noodles 1,337 Posted September 29, 2015 Was it not a scaphoid break that kept Cameron Heeps out of the Ippo side for weeks maybe months? And was he still not suffering from it this season? Scaphoid injuries always used to be a speedway rider's nightmare because of the length of time it took them to heal. Might be a bit foolhardy to ride with a busted one. Scaphoids don't always show up on x ray so normally put in plaster regardless and told to come back in 10 days. I guess that's what has happened here. KIRKYLANE 537 Posted September 29, 2015 one thing for sure ,it is avery attractive fixture. Peterborough rode well last Sunday and Simon Lambert rode better than I have seen for quite a while. A good crowd last Sunday and potentially even bigger on Sunday.
Fenway Bleachers 2,665 Posted September 29, 2015 Robert Lambert was paid for 11 last time bigcat d He and Ricky won't help you this time at the Dale. Simon Lambert will be OK at home. Pants up here
PE7Panther 331 Posted September 29, 2015 Thought scaphoid was a bone in your hand. Dr Noodles is correct. Ok a broken scaphoid bone in his wrist (as was previously reported). Or is this another Panthers red herring? nope, just a sweaty-sock getting his facts wrong in his eagerness to have a pop at Panthers
cyclone 943 Posted September 29, 2015 Dr Noodles is correct. nope, just a sweaty-sock getting his facts wrong in his eagerness to have a pop at Panthers The scaphoid is one of eight small bones that make up the “carpal bones” of the wrist. Looks like you're the ignoramus here
Crump99 4,476 Posted September 29, 2015 (edited) The scaphoid is one of eight small bones that make up the “carpal bones” of the wrist. Correct although this doesn't help matters: "The scaphoid bone is one of the carpal bones in your hand around the area of your wrist" Edited September 29, 2015 by Crump99
spencebel 181 Posted September 30, 2015 Come on Panthers........ We can do this....
cambpanther 172 Posted September 30, 2015 (edited) Anders Thomsen carried on riding after he broke the bone and it didnt affect his riding. Prob just thinking that after a weeks rest it cant be any worse than when he rode after the crash.. Edited September 30, 2015 by Panther2006

Pants up here Lambert didn't help much at home last time he fell off whilst showboating in heat 10 and probably cost us the match.

We may well go out & end up trophy-less but we didn't spend a fortune trying to buy it. Edited September 30, 2015 by Noodles
