Why is the race-off on Friday this year?

Seems a bit unfair for the winner to have to race on consecutive nights.

2 main reasons

1 to make the attendance bigger for the race-off(normally disappointing)

2 so that fans can make it a weekend away with 1 nights hotel.

teams were only sitting around on the Friday so I`m sure they are happier racing !!

The race off on the Friday could well be the equivalent to a final. Makes the price of the "two nights of speedway" ticket an absolute bargain.

King would never get a 3rd in a GP. That was my point. I think the UK Championship was a one off top class performance from a middle tier rider.

Neither would Cook though as we saw when he was in a GP last year. I'm not convinced that at the moment Lambert or Nicholls would either

What Rosco needs to do is get all the prospective riders together at BV and have a practice session where they race each other or a team of guest riders.

Perhaps but GP is different thing. King evidently have performed in a SWC event before even if it only was a semi final many years and not a race off/final.
