stevebrum 6,827 Posted March 31, 2016 Ouch. Thought the Stars with Iversen would be pretty strong at home.
ytsejam 312 Posted March 31, 2016 Ouch. Thought the Stars with Iversen would be pretty strong at home. Belle Vue ARE very strong but this is a very worrying result for Lynn as they will only get weaker when Ivo leaves in a few weeks time!!
bellevueace 914 Posted March 31, 2016 Great performance by the Aces, thought the inclusion of NKI would have made it difficult, good job we hadnt ridden prior to this one eh?

SUPERACE 440 Posted March 31, 2016 Great start for the Aces, should be another exciting season for us. Have to fear for Kings Lynn though as they are only going to get weaker once nki leaves.
mrss 691 Posted March 31, 2016 Poor result for Stars. Reserves look very weak Rory doesn't seem up to speed Lambert and Mads weren't as sharp as normal. God help us when Niels leaves.
Haza 1,774 Posted March 31, 2016 Congratulations to the Aces on a great win . As for the Stars once we lose NKI we are in the deep brown stuff. Poor poor performance from the Stars
lynnboy 254 Posted March 31, 2016 (edited) One shining light was our young German. He will be no 1 by the end of the season at this rate lol Edited March 31, 2016 by lynnboy
Haza 1,774 Posted March 31, 2016 One shining light was our young German. He will be no 1 by the end of the season at this rate lol he will if and when we lose Niels - every effort needs to be made to keep Niels - once he's gone the pressure will be on big time on Schlien Lambert and Mads . stevehone 3,430 Posted March 31, 2016 a lesson in gating tonight from Belle Vue .. 1st to the turn in pretty much every race and Kings Lynn couldn't do anything about it. Kings Lynn highlight was the determination shown by Huckenbeck
kelvinht 355 Posted March 31, 2016 Huckenbeck was the one positive tonight. Build a team of racers to entertain, have a lovely fine couple of days and get a gaters paradise. Having said that stars were awful out of the traps and paid the price against a strong bv who clearly mean business this season and should give Poole a run for their money. Starboy118 237 Posted March 31, 2016 (edited) a lesson in gating tonight from Belle Vue .. 1st to the turn in pretty much every race and Kings Lynn couldn't do anything about it. Kings Lynn highlight was the determination shown by Huckenbeck For some reason, (I know not why), I decided to pay the AFA a visit tonight. Bad mistake! It most definitely was a lesson in gating from the Aces. The Stars have a real chance of winning something this season - the wooden spoon! Schlein and Korneliussen have provided many years of excellent service to King's Lynn but both look past their sell-by dates. Lambert has promise but has not yet got the all-round ability to be a heat leader. He continues to be handicapped by poor starts and unless he can improve in this area, his progress in years to come will be seriously restricted. The Stars have further problems in that they have the weakest pair of reserves in the league. Huckenbeck looks a useful acquisition and NKI is, of course, sheer class. That's it for this season. Hoping for better in 2017. Edited March 31, 2016 by Starboy118
Gavan 5,050 Posted March 31, 2016 Belle Vue looking like a top two team and Kings Lynn shown up as a very weak team. Lord knows they are going to be whipping boys once Nki leaves.i take it that you are just goading as usual. Anyone with half a brain knows the elite league is a 2 horse race and will be the most boring league ever. I'm off to Foxhall Saturday night to see a decent meeting thanks not the elite league borefest
Trees 2,814 Posted March 31, 2016 Christ you're a positive soul Starboy!! Can'take give up til the fat lady sings lol It was a bad day at the office, outgated and ridden in many heats but NKI was our saviour and agree that Kai looks a great prospect, heat 9 was fab 😆 Rob tried his level best but along with the others he made it hard for himself from the gate, but his trackcraft 😊 Just a mention for the long and interesting interview with Cookie, hope his hard work pays off 😊
