Don't blame the club blame the management.

Now that this meeting is over and done with not being run that is, what happens to the EL play off, as I see it Swindon have every right now to complain as they are now above KL in the table on aggregate. Will the result still stand or have swindon got the rights to have the whole thing run again at the start of next season.

The club should be heavily fined and forced to ride 2 leagues lower for at least 2 seasons.

Additionally the promoters licences should be rescinded and all involved forced to attend the BSPA course on 'requirements of all tracks to fulfil fixtures'

* Season ticket holders out of pocket

* Amateurish and totally avoidable incomplete league table (and this is the ELITE league!!)

When oh when are the promoters as a whole going to realise that tolerating this type of thing is bringing the sport down slowly but surely. Elite league participation requires ELITE promotions only.

As mentioned above, the BSPA should step in and refund season ticket holders as an absolute minimum.

:unsure::blink: WTF

Swindon are mile ahead of King's Lynn. The none running of this meeting has made no difference to the Play-Off situation

yes and we would be better off without arrogant dicks like you.

What's disgusting is your attitude to other clubs....do you really want another club to stop running? Speedway is in dire straits as it is.

Its in dire straits because clubs like Leicester deem it accetable to delibrately decieve the paying fans. Allowing fans to part with cash knowing the original wasnt going to be on then refusing them a refund is stealing so yes Speedway would be better of without them if this mangemenf team stay in charge

Kings Lynn fans being told to return re-admission tickets to their own club for a refund, which as been agreed with Keith Chapman . Leicester fans can keep their tickets for a match next season.

No way will Leicester get away with that if people really want to kick up a fuss about it, it's against consumer law.

Without Leicester sky would of departed speedway as nobody else wanted to make the final number up so speedway has a lot to thank them.

However Sky have Only shown Leicester 3 times in 3 seasons,Zero away matches in 3 seasons and this doesn't help the club either with attracting sponsors.

I do feel for season ticket holders as this isn't the only season they have been short changed,it's wrong.

After the first season it was clear the track was wrong and boring, it wasn't changed and the fans cleared off, the refusal to listen to experts cost Leicester as did the jump into the Elite League too soon.

Any new promotor would have a lot of work to do but it's clearly a sleeping giant with the right people in charge with a decent track and team.

A name mentioned was Rick Frost who has a business connections in Leicester ?

If the current owners walk away, do you seriously believe they'll pay a 'heavy fine' if imposed by the SCB?

And what benefit would it bring to Leicester Speedway, and its loyal fan base, by demoting it to the National League for at least 2 years?

What clearly needs to happen is for the current owners to source a new owner/promoter; who can take the club forward (ideally in the PL instead of this utter Elite League farce).

Imposing your penalties would basically evaporate the club into oblivion; after decades of hard work from the loyal Leicester Speedway supporters.

Looks like Leicester will be in the Elite League next season though God help them if they do Saturday nights again.

A different owner/promotion with new sponsors will undoubtedly change their race night for EL racing next year. Very interesting radio interview on the other thread.

But is the club solvent? Or will they just join a list of creditors?

I thought it had already been decided at the outset of this 2016 season that there will be no EL Saturday race nights in 2017.

The decision that still needs to be made is will there be more than one race night per week i.e. EL home fixture every two weeks or will it be multiple mid week nights allowing each team to race one home meeting per week. if so what nights?

Why was it left so late to cancel the meeting leaving riders out of pocket again with flights booked etc. The financial situation hasn't changed dramatically in the last few weeks surely! And what about the BSPA's position in all this?
