Berwick V Rye House Ko Cup 06/08/16 7-00pm

Recommended Posts

With our playoff hopes slowly diminishing we are now relying on a good cup run to keep the season going. Over 2 legs we are quite capable of getting through this tie taking into account the fact we have already drawn at Rye House this season, albeit with 2 good guests on the day in Michael Palm Toft & Luke Bowen. This will be the teams 3rd fixture in as many days, so hopefully all the boys will be fit and we can build up a good points advantage to take to Rye House at the end of the month.

Think this season has been a learning experience for all concerned. Can't honestly see us beat Rye over two leg so its another early finish to the season. Do we start our team building for next season early.

We certainly don`t want a repeat of this from the KOC last season, Berwick seem to do all the hard work in the 1st leg and then......

That was a very weird evening. Rockets took to the wet track like ducks to water, the Bandits struggled. Can't see our reserves scoring anywhere near 18 points Edited by Shads

With no T/R in the cup this is going to be a tale of the two away legs , the team that performs the better away from home will most likely go through

Teams will be:

Bandits: 1. Kevin Doolan, 2. Dawid Stachyra, 3. Theo Pijper, 4. Matthew Wethers. 5. Thomas Jorgensen, 6, Dany Gappmaier, 7. Liam Carr.

Rockets: 1. Edward Kennett, 2. Kaspar Lykke, 3. Cameron Heeps, 4. Leigh Lanham, 5. Stuart Robson, 6. Robert Branford (guest), 7. Ben Morley.

Shielfield regulars should note that season tickets are NOT valid for this meeting, as it is a KO cup-tie.

Just received mine, so yours should have arrived in your inbox now, I would think.

I wonder at how many other clubs is the KOC not part of the season ticket 'package'?
