thecoombdog 2,367 Posted August 6, 2016 In my mind there is no doubt Coventry would have won the league and gained a 5 year lease if Garrity had been fit all year.

stevebrum 6,829 Posted August 6, 2016 Good win for the Lions, think they would have won even with the Bees enigmatic Pole.
mdmc82 2,878 Posted August 6, 2016 (edited) Congratulations to Leicester on the win. Klindt has been very impressive I would take a 11point loss without our number 1 and with his replacement scoring zero. To be honest I expected to lose by more esp when King also had a poor night and Sarj hating this track. The positive of the night was Garrity. Only 1 point dropped to an opposing rider all night. Brilliant to score 16 in the main body of the team, esp after coming back from being out a while with a broken arm. Great to have him back 👍🏻 Edited August 6, 2016 by mdmc82
iainb 5,123 Posted August 6, 2016 We've got the crazy situation where Cov can't have a facility for KK because SEC is not recognised by the BSPA yet the ref at tonight's SEC was British!!! You couldn't make it up
kenny bee firefly 103 Posted August 6, 2016 Some decent racing towards the back end of the meeting ! Best ive seen garrity ride especially his battle with wozniak in heat 15 !! Shame we were denied a terrific finish without bees no1 rider !!
Mr Bump 256 Posted August 6, 2016 Some decent racing towards the back end of the meeting ! Best ive seen garrity ride especially his battle with wozniak in heat 15 !! Shame we were denied a terrific finish without bees no1 rider !! Was some good racing. Good crowd too. Shame no Kasprzak as he's great round Beaumont Park. Top effort from both sets of riders despite the meeting not having much riding on it. Just hope the Lions promotion get their act together so we can do it all over again next year!
Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted August 7, 2016 As Wolves have more home meetings to come whilst Poole need points away and haven't been very good so far away from home.So you think theres a chance Poole won't make the playoffs?Lol!

Woz01 3,589 Posted August 7, 2016 (edited) At least Horton didnt have a hissy fit about it when riders are missing and hasnt moaned at the host club for not changing the date onto an off race night. Think he knows it's an error on his part agreeing to this date. Edited August 7, 2016 by woz01

Sidney the robin 4,735 Posted August 7, 2016 It's the planning of fixtures that's the issue. Get that right and we wouldn't even be talking about this. I have no issue with the rule.People paying 17 quid might though, it does not matter who is right and who is wrong this is an Entertainment business common sense comes into it surely.?If people feel they are getting ripped off surely that make them think about picking and choosing meetings.

Kasprzak or no Mr.Kasprzak it was the largest crowd by far at Leicester last night. Plus some decent close racing. Makes me wonder more why the powers that be insist on running meetings when we're barely out of winter. Nice sunny evening seems to bring the crowds
stevebrum 6,829 Posted August 7, 2016 He hasnt been enigmatic for Coventry Yes he has. Even the bees fans have said he has had his moments of enigma this year with some dreadful scores amongst some great ones. It's the usual enigmatic performances we usually see from him in the EL.
