Sheffield 2017

No surprise there then! How lucky we are to have him again, after all every other team in the Championship wanted to sign him - according to..... his uncle.

Bet the likes of Glasgow & Edinburgh will be really disappointed :P

Not all that predictable if you read the article. He wanted away but was persuaded to give it another year but this will probably be his last.

Slick track hold the throttle on the stop hope for the best is how I would describe him, similiar to Garrity.Put dirt on the track and they fall.

Agreed.........My thoughts exactly.

How I and others would love to see him prove us wrong - only time will tell.

I wonder if he's going to be the 'solid reserve' that Damien Bates was referring to in last weeks piece in the S - Star? Still have 19.16 points to play with so it's possible he could be that guy.

Think Lasse Bjerre is going to be the 2017 signing of the season on that average though, see he's going to be riding at Coventry along with Bates, hope they get on ok.

I didn't know that, where's the article that refers to this?

Not a fan of Bates personally but he is on a good average for next year. He's stepped up into the 1-5 and held his figure roughly, this year is make or break for him in the second tier, he's had his bedding in season as a second string, now he needs to put a point on his average at least. I think he'll do it

Sheffield look to be building a very decent team so far, they should be there or thereabouts come the end of the season barring any team building nightmares with the remaining three.
