What a crap track Lynn really is. Who gives a toss that the tracks smooth and fast, brilliant, no outside passing at all, all on the inside. Only passes have been mistakes by others.

Yes and no. I'm sure better riders could have found a way round.

Once the manager picks a team then its set. Doyle pulled out after team picked so the manager has to work with what he has.

Stops the trick Hancock did last year when he rode in this equivalent meeting, qualified cause of his points for the Friday last chance, and pulled out. Big moan on hear (and elsewhere) about him pulling out - you must remember that. So rules changed.

but why we're either not picked ahead of Morris ?

Great ride from cookie. He gets past Holder, then stuffs him! If only Rosco had put his team out in the right order!

LOL!

ONE of those nights when it is probably far more enjoyable actually being there rather than watching on TV.

Lets hope so. Even if two teams are far better than the others, there could still have been some racing.

Jokers are ridiculous and shouldn't be in this competition.

GB riding brilliantly, but the final will be hell of a lot tougher.

Racing not great due to USA and Czechs being way out of their depth.

No idea why Pearson is getting so animated banging on about Czechs making a mistake playing joker in race with Cook and Holder. The Czechs were never going to beat a Aus or GB rider if we raced until christmas. Czechs just had to play joker in a race where they beat USA - which they did.

USA got the joker wrong playing it against Harris and Batchelor....They should have played it against Fricke, the only rider in the top 2 that they could conceivably have a chance of beating

NOT much racing maybe but Cook didn't do it all from the gate

What sort of spectator attendance - a 'guesstimate' will do - is likely to be at this meeting?

3128

The quoted possible WTC match attendance at King's Lynn puts speedway very much on a par with Women's Test cricket. But I suspect it's a joke response to my query.

Surely its all about qualification and Team GB have done that.

Well done lads, you can only beat what's put in front of you and they've done that with room to spare, well done indeed...

Good result for Team GB.

Pleased that Stevie Worrall got the team over the line rather than one of the 'better' rated riders.

Disappointed with Fricke tonight. Seems to be going backwards. Worrall did ok but wasn't really pressured. Don't understand why Manzaries doesn't get a ride in the Uk

Well done Gb but but the format and rules are rubbish..Gb at home home each year v the same teams and now this crazy reserve rule and thats even before the joker ..tonights meeting has been poor due to the track and the gulf between the riders
