Leicester Lions 2017

Recommended Posts

Looks like a team to battle with Somerset at the foot of the table

I'd fancy us to turn them over to be fair. Come to think of it, I think both us and Leicester could turn Swindon over too!

Had a guest booking for Ipswich last season and made sure he enjoyed himself . He may not be a world beater but lots of effort and passion , played up to the crowd and got them going and he loved it .

You can't help but warm to him .

Watched him at Swindon in the Sprockets v Coventry meeting he lit the meeting up.Wheelies and everything a great value guy i wish him luck this year.

What selling old tat😆Steptoe and Son reborn your arrogance is laughable.

I should imagine most of the artwork I sell is out of your range and the pockets of the average working person.

Still if you think fine art is tat you are entitled to your opinion.

German,Polish, Swedish, Latvian, Yorkshire, Suffolk.

Quite a mix of accents there!

Maybe it works well at the Bates family plumbing business, so why not ?

Just hope it goes better than the so-called "Cosmopolitan Lions" of (1975?)!

If Lebedevs starts at reserve it gives them the opportunity to use him seven times but he will soon be up in the team.

Think they lack top end fire power.

If you look at Leicesters EL ave's:

LEICESTER
1 Kim Nilsson (6.88)
2 Kevin Wolbert (4.80)
3 Kacper Gomolski (5.51)
4 Josh Auty (4.90)
5 Eric Riss (4.11)
6 Andzejs Lebedevs (4.50)
7 Danny Ayres (2.17)
Total 32.87!

Have you compared that to other "EL" teams?

EL averages don't apply, only converted PL averages are used.

I think that the Leicester promotion have done well in the team building to say that they have started building a team so late on.

Dreadful team.

Lebedevs won't be around much and no top end strength.

Another one to go in the bottom-end mix with Somerset and Swindon.

It's not great but it isn't awful either, especially looking at the kind of teams Leicester have fielded in their EL tenure.

Lebedevs will be a key man and his performances will decide meetings either way for the Lions I'd imagine.
