Steve55 340 Posted October 26, 2016 Thought Stead and or Garrity would have been busting a gut to ride in these two meetings. Haven't seen Steady about but saw Garrity down at Owlerton last Wednesday, didn't appear to have a cast or bandages on either hand! As they're not riding hope they've considered loaning an engine or two to the other riders that might improve their performance. Probably not Nathan though, he'll only fall off whilst travelling at a faster speed!
Blackadder 280 Posted October 26, 2016 I spoke with Jason 2 weeks ago, and he used his left hand to shake hands, as he still had his right wrist strapped up. If the strapping has since been taken off, his wrist will still be weak.

Didn't get chance to speak with him, he was talking to Ian Hunter, hopefully about his return to Sheffield next year.

SomersetBlue 212 Posted October 26, 2016 Leave them up You're supposed to be rebels Wasn't there to cause trouble so took them down. Didn't know we were American though. Anyway credit Sheffield for fighting back but think we may have deserved a bigger lead. Jake was a little off tonight and Shanes and Branford deserved more. Wrighty and Starkey did their jobs. Josh and Rohan were good. For Sheffield wells and greaves didn't do a lot, bates and sissis got into the match as it went on. Robson did what was required but Howarth was their best rider and deserved rider of the season. Not over yet, half time 15 more to go.
cyclone 943 Posted October 26, 2016 (edited) Rebels fans been told to take our flags down. Ridiculous If it's the stewards employed by the Stadium & Casino who "police" the Car Park, not surprised, as they are an aggressive bunch who like to throw their weight about Edited October 26, 2016 by cyclone
Cue Ball 416 Posted October 26, 2016 Congratulations to the Rebels, a deserved win (although engine failures lost us the meeting arguably). A good meeting and particular thanks to Robson who rode his proverbials off all night.
