After Saturday night and seeing the guys getting dialled into Shielfield I can't wait for this week, real racing, Saturday night at seven o'clock!

Looking good, considerable interest in the 50th --- club have received applications from Poland for media facilities on Saturday night!

Excellent. There's a real buzz about it. Hopefully the new promoters get a bumper crowd.

Thanks. The Polish interest is intriguing -- booking in Adam Scornicki may have helped there. So is getting the event inscribed on FIM Calendar. Quite a lot of former Berwick heroes of the "first fifty" have indicated they'll be in attendance.

PS: Did you sell the Suzuki?

Hope you good people of Berwick didn't get the amount of rain we got in Glasgow today and that the forecast is good for tomorrow

A long time ago when the Taylor family sat around their kitchen table, opened the biscuit tin and came up with the name " Bandit " who'd of guessed we'd still be here 50 seasons later ? Well certainly not those in charge back in the day if the stories are true. There's been a few ups and downs over the years ,like being kicked out of Shielfield or beating The Pirates in the KO cup final , the Terry Lindon era or being live on SkySports and many more . Reaching 50 is a great achievement and well worth celebrating . A huge thank you goes out to all who've been involved over the years weather they've been on a bike or behind the scenes , well done to all and here's to the next 50

We did have rain for a good part of yesterday and most of the night, still some drizzly bits a pieces hanging around this morning in places. Happily the forecast for later is an improving one.

Enjoyed last night , big crowd and the track held up well after the afternoon heavy rain . Shame we never got to see the intriguing climax to the meeting , but this early in the season it's understandable riders not wanting to risk injury .

That's the cobwebs blown off , bring on the real stuff now .
