Are Speedway Riders Of Today, Alot Taller Than 30 Years'ish Ago?

Recommended Posts

When you see riders like Patrick Hougaard, Niels K Iversen, Chris Holder, etc... Are riders taller than in the old days? I know Michael Lee was leggy, but the Morans, Penhall, PC, Dave Jessup, Steve Scofield, Greg Hancock, Ian Turner etc, all seem tiny in comparison to todays racers....?

Some of those mentioned here certainlty did smoke enough of some stuff to have seriouslly stunted their growth.

Arthur Browning

Remember a photo of Arthur Browning (one of the tallest) carrying Paul Gachet (one of the smallest) during the seventies!
