Well Done the Witches, think we were beaten by the better side on the night.

Looking at the updates our inability to get our of the gate let us down, and on some of the few occasions we did manage it the race was stopped.

Not overly concerned about the result as Ipswich way would have been one of the toughest meetings for us, and we will get better and stronger as the season progresses.

We should put a line under this result and move on to the next fixture.

Races were only stopped correctly for big jump starts and to your advantage with covatti falling in tac race as it turned from a 6-3 to an 8-1!! Lasse should have been pulled back twice more as well for jumping!!

In fairness Todd Kurtz has never gone particularly well at Foxhall, and josh g looked to be struggling to find the speed to really challenge our top boys! Both of them will have much better days and will make you still one of the teams to beat!

Looked really classy. If he gets the luck he deserves and an injury free season he could push Danny for the No1 spot...

Equalled the TR Danny set last year of 55.8 in heat 11 . Mind you does that still stand from last year after the track alterations in the close season? Does that make Rory the new TR holder .

7.17 average I know it's only 1 meeting but think he's gonna add 1.25 -1.5 on that this season.

Another who I've already said on the BSF MASSIF FB page will make a mockery of their average is Hume . 2.00 starting average the lad looked good last night and is only going to improve as the season progresses.

Great to see some speedway again but who forgot to open the Bell Lane gate before the meeting (open at the end) snd they ran out of programmes so if anyone has one they were going to throw in recycle bin?

Don't think they were expecting such a large crowd, just shows the power of social media. You promote it correctly and you will get the just rewards .

Think there was a few factors why it was such a healthy crowd. First meeting after a 5 month winter break, a strong looking team built over the winter and an attractive opening fixture against another team tipped for honours, and mostly I'd say Saturday night Speedway.

Saturdays will always be better attended than a weekday.

I mentioned it when in the pits before the meeting that Bell Lane was closed, so maybe someone just forgot?

Not as though the stadium werent aware of the issue and didn't have the time to fix it!

As for missing stuff....

you missed the pa working...

you missed the raffle winning numbers... and you missed out on wagon wheels!

Cam's pass in heat 10 was great. Echoed by Nico afterwards. New bits of track are soft and wavey .. needs time to settle

Sorry about the wagon wheels - all Sainsbury's fault!

Must find a more reliable supplier.

Rocky's are not an acceptable alternative!

They may come back bruv, but not being able to hear anything might not help that cause. Kevin must wonder why he bothers sometimes

Some chap started on him when he came round to the back straight, Kevin's (very appropriate) response being that he was the presenter not the track electrician.

None of the new lads disgraced themselves and on that showing Hume could be a huge bonus. King was untouchable and its going to take a very good ride to beat him at Foxhall.

Not quite as cold as I thought it would be, and always good to see the Tractor Boy and laugh my head off.
