wealdstone 3,454 Posted July 18, 2017 A Poole rider? A Kings Lynn rider!!!
Midland Red 2,383 Posted July 18, 2017 He made a stand on Thursday, he was certainly not the only one, but he's carrying the can, the SCB are wrong to have singled him out for their harsh punishment. Yes, but there were two ways of going about it - the right way, and the wrong way Holder chose the wrong way, hence his punishment
Daniel Smith 5,709 Posted July 18, 2017 A Kings Lynn rider!!! Was it Jorgensen by any chance. For me, he was the home sides Man of the Meeting. He WAS a joy to watch last week

Starman2006 2,356 Posted July 18, 2017 Holder's been sh!+e everywhere in 2017. His suspension is no big lose. Loss. He rode ok at poole last wk So your club must be the problem.

foamfence 2,917 Posted July 18, 2017 Down to averages, keep up They still didn't need to drop him and the guy who replaced him is even worse.
Triple.H. 1,998 Posted July 18, 2017 Spoke to a rider involved in the meeting the next day. His view was that track perfectly ok and ensuing furore totally down to Holder and Batchelor. So what did the other rider who missed 2 races on the 2 minutes say ?If a rider doesn't consider a track safe just Pootle around at the back. Just like when riders aren't being paid all they have to do is refuse to sign the form saying they have been
Trees 2,814 Posted July 18, 2017 Yes, but there were two ways of going about it - the right way, and the wrong way Holder chose the wrong way, hence his punishment No he chose to take the honest way out rather than have an ef or ride through the tapes. Wrongly punished for stickibg to his guns. And for all those Lynn fans blasting him, it was only from the night before he was quoted in our local paper saying he told the rest of the Stars all he knew about set up and racing at Poole ..... and of course we won! Down to averages, keep up But we made a decent team up with him!

Trees 2,814 Posted July 18, 2017 Clearly he's not interested in staying there.. I fully expect Chris to be back at Poole next season, makes sense for him basically, IF Matt employs him again of course.
Arthur54 1,325 Posted July 18, 2017 They still didn't need to drop him and the guy who replaced him is even worse. It was for a more balanced team, which unfortunately hasn't worked out
GWC 495 Posted July 18, 2017 More importantly why do promotions continue to throw money at riders who begrudgingly ride in the UK. We keep hearing how overseas riders get financial backing before home based riders. I'm afraid UK speedways precarious situation has been seriously tainted this season and it could leave some tracks sparsely supported.
