Ok , take out Newman and Bridger, then bring in Sedgemen who knows the track ( and has beaten Lindgren and Hancock there) and any one of Williamson, Bacon or Clegg from the NL who all like the track, and are all on an upward curve and you have a team that will be stronger as the season goes on.

Newman and the one that can beat Hancock and Lindgren (😆😆) are almost identical average

Id stick with Kyle

He isn't. Someone posted this on the Ipswich thread but I don't think it has any substance. Anyway, Chris Louis will be announcing his 1 -7 at 6pm this evening so we might find out more then..

There is every substance to it I can assure you.

Questions have been and continue to be asked however about the justification of the decision.

Also means Kim Nilsson is a no go then, as that could have been do-able for the Hammers.

Weird decisions like this one, if true, are just what gives speedway a bad name. It should be transparent and any rationale involved made public.

How does it square with 'restraint of trade' issues?

It's only the reintroduction of a long standing rule that was dropped last year.

What exactly is the rule? It seems inconsistent that Bomber can ride in the CL and Scott can't.

I'm not sure the rule would survive a legal challenge.

Harris has a Championship average where Nicholls hasn't, maybe that has something to do with it.

Very unfair on Scott though, if true, as Harris and Cook both have higher averages and are eligible for the Premiership. Also, Nicholls was guesting for Premiership teams at the end of the season.

Not fair on a British rider who has been entertaining the British fans for 20 years and is looking to ride and earn as much as possible in his last few years before retirement. Maybe a foreigner will have to be brought in to fill this Brit's potential team spot(!)

And the rationale is?
