However, having riders representing two teams in the same competition is absolutely ludicrous. Cradley could easily form a strong team out of surplus riders without taking other team's riders and making a mockery of the competition Using riders not signed elsewhere (not even rumoured elsewhere) and roughly Midlands-ish, the could have Tom Perry 8.55 Dan Greenwood 6.72 Alfie Bowtell 6.65 George Hunter 5.43 Luke Ruddick 5.31 Lee Geary 3.08 Kyle Roberts 3.

No Plymouth won the Southen section beating Swindon and IoW. swindon riders were Wajknect,Cupitt,Greenwood, all rode 4 matches,Ritchings , Wallinger rode in 3, Mason,Whitmore,Hampshire rode in 2 Bowtell,Woolley, both rode in 1 Sutton and Anderson rode in their last match at Plymouth at reserve but by then Plymouth had already qualified. Zach Wajknecht the only outstanding rider in that selection,

Sings4Speedway 3,247 Posted January 22, 2018 There will always be pluses and minuses to a team running solely in this competition. A team has to either nominate an intended team under the 39 point limit at the start of the season or pick a team of riders on form but come in under 39 points as the season progresses or use a selection of unattached riders. For Cradley & for entertainment purposes the route the club is taking is probably the correct one as there will be a competitive side out each time and continuity will at least bring a side together that fans can relate too on a regular basis. Obviously this all falls over if Cradley reach the final and the rider reverts to their original club. As proven last year the concept of producing a dream team is one thing but creating the unity and fighting spirit plus creating racing partnerships is another. As ever i would rather see two well matched sides on track creating entertainment than a meeting where the result is practically decided before tapes up. Providing the Northern group serves up good racing and keeps the Cradley fans entertained there is hope that the Team can survive as i fear if a spectacle is not produced interest will wain and the famous name may be lost again.
ProudtobeaBrummie 646 Posted January 24, 2018 Kyle Bickley added now ... Utterly ruined the competition there will be many not attending this competitions fixtures unfortunately . Even cradley fans will find it boring as hell watching them whip everyone by 30+ points maybe they wont but im looking at the league this year and the teams all look evenly matched pretty much.. TurnTwo 317 Posted January 25, 2018 I am on both sides of the fence 1 great to see Cradley running 2 I think there should have been restrictions as what to build having the 2 best reserves, I presume Jenkins to be in there with Bickley and possibly a few from last year maybe lawlor and Dwyer? Argos 262 Posted January 25, 2018 Good luck to Cradley I say, The team that was one of the biggest Speedway teams in the country are now running in a meaningless competition, Cherry picking a team of riders that all ride for others teams, it’s such a sad demise of a club like Cradley , let there marvellous fans have something to cheer about. 3
Islander15 1,065 Posted January 28, 2018 Fantasy league speedway continues... Of course they’re going to pick the best team they can but it’s making the Northern section a bit pointless. 1
Moleman27 31 Posted January 28, 2018 Yep is making a joke of it, yes will be a very young side but takes any point out of the competition as wont be a realistic side you could normally put together.
