I take it you haven't understood anything I've written? No Premiership. Just two divisions.. Division one would be the equivalent of the current championship.( The One Big Division) Division two would be equivilant to the current NL therefore those that don't want to play in the ' one league ' go into division 2 ( i.e. Berwick, Birmingham etc)

Big League - Premier 7 (-1) + Glasgow; Sheffield, Somerset, Leicester (10) NDL - Berwick, Brum, Eastie, Redcar ; Scunny; IOW; Kent; Mildenhall; Plymouth; Stoke (10) (no Edinburgh? / Newcastle? / Cradley / Cubs + Colts go too??.. who is struggling PL Team??....(Peterborough??).. At this stage that's as good a guess on the 2020 outcome as I can see. Whilst I can't guarantee you have all the right teams in the right divisions I don't think your far off. Heat 15 was a cracker and a draw was a fair result.

If a club can't afford a league but still wants to run then they will consider dropping down a standard. You seem to forget Eastbourne have already done it and Somerset. Better NL standard than no speedway at all.
GiveusaB 1,145 Posted September 5, 2019 (edited) A decent meeting spoilt by some top-hat in the control box (Dave Watters Referee) playing god with the start button??? I lost count of the re-runs due to his appetite/desire to be star of the show....'so frustrating, especially on a blustery/rain soaked evening'! These incompetent officials need addressing! I thought it was a fair result, although I'm disappointed that we didn't win it! Imo.....Tero and Tobias got us the draw, coupled with some great team riding from Ellis and Paco lost us the win! (I can only think that Paco is trying to keep his average down for next season?) Tom Perry worked extremely hard for all his points......Agertoft may be another 'average manipulator' ? he was woeful! One other point of interest, which may have cost us a last heat 4-2 ? Why on earth did Ellis/Tero choose gates 1-3 in the final heat ??? Previously....10 of the 14 heat wins/advantages had come from gates 2-4??? also, knowing that gate 4, outside track specialist and unbeaten, Barker was in the heat ??? I honestly for the life of me cant work that one out??? Tero was sensational in the last heat …..and it was arguably the best ride from a B'ham rider that I've witnessed this season !!! Better I hope now the weather not as hot as it's been Track seemed quite bumpy, while there one or two decent races before Heat 15, but it was mostly from the gate. Mind you, I'm spoilt by watching much of my speedway at Scunthorpe, where the racing is top-notch. Last night compared very well with meetings I've seen at Leicester, Sheffield, etc. Heat 15 was an absolute cracker, thought the Scunny boys had done the hard work on the opening lap, but Tero then found a terrific burst of speed down the inside and go through on second lap. Both sides can point to moments of bad luck, in the case of Scunny it was Jake Allen's e/f after gating in Heat 4, but a draw was a fair result. Ref did his best to ruin the meeting by holding the tapes for too long and multiple warnings were handed out for even the smallest movement. Poor show on a drizzly and cold night. Totally agree regarding the starts. The tapes were held for an eternity in most races.
