IronScorpion 1,407 Posted April 20, 2021 I can think of 2 clubs that should have equipment to borrow should there be any delay in replacing their own.

Mike0310 660 Posted April 20, 2021 Scumbags hope they get caught saying that even if they do knowing the justice system in this country they would only get fined about about 10 percent of the damage they caused.
Speedway fan 206 Posted April 20, 2021 (edited) great initial response with £2230 so far including a very generous £1000 from Andrew Morris --thank you sir! Edited April 20, 2021 by Speedway fan
brianbuck 928 Posted April 20, 2021 It's a sad reflection on how modern society has regressed to a point where we can excuse the actions of such scum as being due to "boredom" because of coronavirus frustration, and that we now have no effective method of dealing with people who care nothing about the after effect of their actions. As a lifelong Birmingham Supporter and ardent speedway enthusiast, I am cheered by the positive response to this devastating news - especially from those generous people who are followers of other clubs but still care enough about Birmingham's predicament to donate to the fund. Thank you - all of you.

GWC 495 Posted April 20, 2021 Was it just the speedway equipment that was vandalised? If so then that sounds a bit sinister.

The premium isn’t much either. It might get a bit more difficult once you have claims of vandalism so, as you say, the premium becomes unreasonable.
uk_martin 1,606 Posted April 21, 2021 With the CCTV and 24 hour security patrols that the adjacent construction site employs, I'm astounded that any vandals would want to be anywhere near Perry Barr right now. It takes their state of mindlessness to another level.

If you or GWC can sort Speedway fan out an insurance policy for the replacement equipment, I'm sure that the premium can be funded out of another GoFundMe appeal.
