There was a gap there for Lindgren, and he didn't actually leave the inside. Zmarzlik edged back in a bit to shut the door. 

Lindgren (not for the first time) showing a lack of awareness though. 1pt would have seen him into semi's... now he's blown it.

Points system again ruining things with Emil running a last. These things should be making a big difference.

This format creates meaningless races.

Why not just offer the winner of the meeting a bonus of 10 points? That would reward winning but keep every race meaningful.

Agree final could be 8, 5, 3, 1   and they'd race for that for sure.
