Leicester vs Redcar 19/06/21

Recommended Posts

Anybody going?

Looks like the sun shouldn't be a problem, rain could be from 9pm though.

Will Josh Bates be taking the knee or attempting to in every race?

Bates misses the meeting tonight due a shoulder injury which seems to be an ongoing thing.

Oh that's a shame... Best part of last week's match was watching him try to stay on his bike

Think you will find it’s Charles Wright and not James Wright

Pity we couldn’t get Jorgensen or Ostergaard to guest.

Redcar without Wright makes them a little weaker and struggling with their R/R .

R/R for Bates makes the Lions a lot stronger so it’s a 8-10 point win the the home team.

Have to totally agree, with the top line, but not so sure about the bottom line. R/R for Bates, gives one ride for Proctor (not at his best) and the rest of the rides to the Thompson twins. I suppose it depends on which Josh Bates was going to turn up tonight.

If they get more than zero from Bates R/R then that makes them stronger the way his form has been.

Agreed.

Bates has scored 1 from 8 rides at home this year.

Makes it a harder task for the Bears this evening.

About what I expected but frustrating as a Bears fan that the team is so inconsistent. Hard to get anything when Allen, Rowe and Sarj score 10 between them.

R/R not working for the Bears (3 tonight) and R/R probably scored more for the Lions than Bates would have scored on recent form.Another good performance from Jordan Jenkins though, he’s been excellent so far this year.

Lions are a strong team and Dan Thompson is looking a good prospect, was impressed with him at Redcar on Thursday. They will be right up there again at the end of the season. Sounds like some decent racing too (according to the updates)

It was. My son took two 'newbies' to Leicester tonight and they both said that they will be back for more.
