Najjer 2,890 Posted November 1, 2021 The U24 league idea is an absolute belter and will be a great addition to the main league The play off idea is an absolute shocker and must have been given to them by Rob Godfrey or something. A team can finish 6th in a 8 team league, lose their first round of play off matches and still win the league! I don’t begrudge the top 6 qualifying but surely it has to be 3 v 6 and 4 v 5 with the winners then advancing to meet the 1st and 2nd placed teams. After the roaring success of the play offs this year it seems mad to change the system so drastically.

Why does the team at the top of the league not get to choose their opponents? The team that finished 6th could be the only team to take the bonus point of the team in first so that team could be the last team they would pick (eg Peterborough didn't pick Sheffield this year after Sheffield won at Peterborough but that would have been the seeding if UK took that method)? There is no real advantage to being top other than having the choice of having the 2nd leg at home.

Be a shame if he goes to Wroclaw as could make them even stronger than this year. Bartlomiej Kowalski now confirmed for Wroclaw

IronScorpion 1,407 Posted November 3, 2021 Any idea what day will be the race day for the U24 league if the riders can not race on the same day as their Ekstraliga teams? Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday is the choice for the Ekstraliga at the moment. Very fluent.

Esktraliga matches are always scheduled for Friday and Sunday - it’s only been some of the rescheduled matches that take place on other nights.

topsoil 2,498 Posted November 6, 2021 According to Speedway star this week, Ekstraliga matches were watched by an average 139,000 viewers per meeting. Wonder how this compares to matches Sweden and Britain? Anybody know the figures from these leagues?
