But unlikely with Panthers I would imagine

Guess it depends on stadium situation. Maybe BV. Definitely not Wolves as apparently he hates that track!

If this is the case then why have they not informed the fans?

As a PR stunt they will wait until end of the season and then if its true , announce it just to keep fans and sponsors onside and promise everyone a team to win the league blah blah blah

Main sponsor is doing that already.

Tbf the club have never said this is the last season just that discussions over a new venue will start as they'll need a new venue at future date

Lets hope hes not agreed to sponsor a team that hasn't been confirmed as running yet !!

At this stage there not going to say there not running with matches left to run and the need to keep people attending ,  nothings assured until a statement is released

Peterborough Panthers Twitter Page -  We will make an announcement over the future of the club at Thursday’s final home meeting of the season against Belle Vue (7.30pm).

Would be very strange to make announcement last meeting of the season if not running in 2023. BUT nothing would come as a surprise - this is speedway we are talking about.

Being told face to face is good news. They wouldn’t tell you bad news face to face

Not a message from a club about to go into it's last ever meeting for me.

@TheAces

♣️ Fricke, Kurtz & Zagar!

7.30

 East of England Arena, PE2 6XE.

 Announcement on our future.

For the final time in 2022. Let’s round off a disappointing campaign on a high

Knew there would be a sweetner to keep the interest alive especially as the seasons over now in the middle of September
