Panthers v Wolves - 2nd leg

Recommended Posts

If we pull this off tonight then the boys should be put on the next honours list.

And Harris / Nicholls should be the top 2 candidates to win the Sports personality of the year.

Wolves by 6 imo

Holder was injured during won of the playoffs when the final was Poole vs Brum (can't remember what year that was, maybe 2013?) We signed Greg Hancock in his place, I guess this is why we have the deadline now. Can't remember how far ahead of the deadline Greg was signed..?

Biggest upsets? lol They are the favourites!!

I think you’re getting confused! Holder was injured at Coventry on 5 July 2013 and didn’t race again that season. Hancock was brought in to help Poole make the play offs a month later - he made his debut at Poole on 5 August 2013, long before the cut off. Initially, he was only signed for a few meetings but he was persuaded to stay to the end of the season on the grounds that it was his best chance to win his only UK league championship. Which he managed

Crump scored one or something last month for Ipswich at the EoES. Basically Cook is the only 'better' option on paper than Kerr and for whatever reason one or both parties didn't fancy it.

Losing MPT is a blow for P'boro but if the track is how they like it and not how it was against Sheffield they should get the job done but I'd never write Wolves off, they are a team full if decent British League riders.

Losing MPT is a massive blow, they can overcome it if Bjarne rides well, there is some rain due today which probably won't help the home side as it didn't help Wolves last week, sounds like a last heat decider to me hopefully, should be good viewing.

Yes and what a crash that was, I went home fearing he would never race again , horrific being stood on the very bend he went in to. You know its bad when the whole stadium goes eerily quiet.

It was a devastating crash. Like Forever blue it happened directing in front of me. Poole needed a 5-1 in heat 15 to win with Darcy and Chris. Ward led but entering lap 2 Chris had gone on the outside of a Coventry rider and slipped in behind Darcy as they entered the first bend. But Chris clipped Darcys back wheel, straightened toward the fence and ploughed in. To make matters far worse, the bike hit the airfence which lifted and Chris at high speed went straight underneath it hitting the Armco. Badly broken bones and months out from which he never fully recovered his previous form to this day.

That's very true unfortunately...

In my opinion the main problem Peterborough have is Bjarne, who has been out of form of late and they need him to have a great night. He will try his best, he always has but if he is off form tonight Wolves will win. No idea why they can't get a better guest than Kerr , I would have thought a half fit MPT would be better than Kerr.

You can only use Ipswich or King's Lynn riders

Bet365 has the Panthers at 5/6 and Wolves at 20/21.

I'm shocked, I would have had Wolves as 1/3 favourites.

I'm just in agreement with him because he's 100% right.

I don't know where bet365 are getting their prices from tbh.

Lewis Kerr at No.1, Out of form Pedersen at reserve for a free scoring Hans Andersen and R/R in operation is always dangerous vs. A fully fit Wolves side.

Buster Douglas was 42/1 when he beat Mike Tyson so you're hardly underdogs of the century are you,?
