THE DEAN MACHINE 4,750 Posted June 29, 2022 (edited) Hope I feel different closer to the day but at the moment I just don’t have the enthusiasm to go, I haven’t missed one yet but this year the series feels a bit flat and I feel the next day would of been better filled with a test match or something similar Edited June 29, 2022 by THE DEAN MACHINE

Anyway I,m sure I’ll enjoy both meetings.

The chance to step out in front of the biggest of crowds at the British GP and hopefully nick a few points is surely a big incentive. I love seeing the British Final winner at Cardiff. Me too, but I still remember when, for one year only, they decided to nominate Harris for Cardiff rather than the BF winner/the rider who finished highest and wasn't a full time GP rider. I remember because I think that was decided after the British Final not before. Edited July 4, 2022 by SPEEDY69
ipswichwitches 16 Posted July 5, 2022 Has anybody any experience of using the disabled / ambulant seating areas in the stadium? Having spoken to the stadium, they have identified block U12 and block L22 as the closest blocks to where we plan to go (U15). Block L22 appears to have the ambulant seating at the back of the block, whilst block U12 appears to have the seating towards the front. At the moment, U12 is looking the more favourable, but I have a question regarding access to this area. Does this ambulant seating area have it's own access, possibly at the back of it looking at a plan, or do you have to enter / exit via the usual aisles? As a blue badge holder with limited mobility, my elderly parent would find it a struggle to have to shuffle past other people to get to the usual aisle, hence the question about access. Thanks in advance for all your help Ian

Star Lady 5,400 Posted July 5, 2022 (edited) We used the disabled ( not those specific ones) area several years back. From memory one person could sit with the wheelchair user and the rest of the group sat in the row in front. Also stewards came out before the gates opened and escorted us to our places, might have changed now. Could be worth ringing the stadium direct and asking. Thanks in advance for all your help Ian I need to know about ambulant seating too. I called the stadium and they were no help at all. It's ridiculous that the OAP concession tickets are all in the upper tier, I was advised to take the lift to to the upper tiers.
