Davey has been back on a bike in the Darcy Ward meetings in Aussie. LR has already said the 2 riders were checking fixtures so will already be riders racing in europe. That story was weeks ago. True story is they are struggling and hoping a name pops out the hat that will fit the bill. Going be long season for LR and his Consortium.

lisa-colette 6,067 Posted February 2, 2022 Feel a bit sorry for Birmingham if they are looking to riders who have already retired! I did see on their twitter account today that it was just a case of getting something in writing?

I'm the same its plain to see even from day 1 when mention of massive rent increase and crowds of 1000 need to break even. No one wants to see clubs disappear etc But the writings already on the wall Masons struggled all last season with crowds not attending and that was with two very good heat leaders in Harris and Riss for the crowd to watch. LR has already used excuses or told few fibs

Why on earth would they go to all the trouble of the extensive track work if they wasn't confident of completing the season etc.... Time and time again we keep pointing out that 1000 break even figure??? ...it's merely a 'figure of speech' pardon the pun.... so, if we have 900 infants and 100 full paying adults = 1000 spectators...would that suffice? Course not..... We need as many fans as possible....neutrals/away fans included and some strong sponsorship! It's about time the '1000 attendance' was dropped! Lets see the final septet before we make judgement.....surely that makes sense...everyone at B'ham are happy with the first 4 signings!!! I suppose most fans are concerned rather than being negative, and the 1000 attendance statement didn't do any favours, but as you say wait until the last signings and see then.
