No pressure on the kid then.....

Great sportsmen can handle pressure! That's what makes them great!

Has anything been confirmed about Pearson - and Ellis - yet or is this all speculation?

Vissing is a great signing and one I certainly didn’t see coming. He’ll do a solid job for the Brummies for sure

Speculation but as always it's worth noting who has posted the names on here as some are more ITK than others.

Acknowledged. But, with less than a week to go, there are still only 5 riders announced. And, to paraphrase Shania Twain, three of them don’t impress me much

If the last two are Ellis and Pearson that's a pretty good team and much better than most would have expected.

If.

IF….IF it is to be Adam Ellis, he will be one busy boy. With Premiership, Sweden and Poland (Latvia) already scheduled, another league could be one step too far.

If it is Pearson, he could be a trump card at reserve but might be difficult in the main body of the team with new tracks to get used to as well. Let's see what LR comes up with.

If it is him on a 4 average surely he will be at 6 or 7.

If Vlad the Invader keeps on rolling there could be an abundance of riders available for; if not the start of the season; soon there after; because Poland are not exactly sitting secure at the minute are they.

Does France count?

It doesn't count as a top league but he's still riding in it.

What are the rules now on work visas? Do riders still have to be amongst the top two or three in state or national championships and, if so, how does Pearson qualify?

He came third in the Victorian state in December - not sure if state is still the qualifier though
