Leicester vs Birmingham 26/03/2022 KoC 1st Round 1st Leg

Recommended Posts

Leicester throwing all their promotional might at this one and finally give it a mention on the website with little more than 24 hours until tapes up :o

LEICESTER: Nick Morris, Connor Mountain, Kyle Howarth, Dan Thompson, Richie Worrall, Anders Rowe, Joe Thompson.
BIRMINGHAM: Claus Vissing, James Shanes, Stefan Nielsen, Ashley Morris, Josh Auty, Ben Morley, James Pearson.

No Adam Ellis... again! Is he frit of Leicester or something. He's just "unavailable" this time unlike the lies that were spun last time.

Was quite looking forward to this, probably give it a miss now in favour of the Ben Fund at Peterborough

He's riding in a league meeting in France as was already announced when his signing was made on Wednesday

If Morley is guesting for Ellis, should Nielsen not still be at reserve? Should Birmingham not be using the 75% ave rule, Poole & Glasgow used last year?

Why did Birmingham accept the fixture then? We rearranged last season and went there to save their club... and this is how the Leicester fans are repaid!

I can't answer that as i'm not part of the Birmingham management team

You could also ask the question why Leicester's Management are desperate to run a KOC Meeting opening night against a weakened team instead of a challenge meeting or Individual like most clubs.

Because  1. They would have to pay for both teams making break even much higher 2. Individual Meetings at Beaumont Park have been poorly supported in the past and lost moneyh.

Not no.1 vissing has higher average. And we got to use the facility at Poole and Leicester before nowak rode for us. Same with Poole and the Czech. Has the rule been changed this season?

My point exactly, the rule was used twice last year, once for a rider who hadn't ridden yet (Glasgow) and once for a rider who never arrived (Poole).

I'm led to believe that Leicester were happy for the 75% guest to be used, but Birmingham were refused the facility.

I'm not going... would have done if Ellis had turned out or been adequately replaced
