Personally think it will be closer than that with Newman at reserve. Wet track always helps the away team as well. So I know Redcar are targeting a point, but maybe they should be going for more than that!

Agreed Newman at reserve helps but he hasn’t been doing much for along time now so not that worried if he gets 7 rides don’t expect more than 7/8pts tbh

I mentioned weather.com yesterday to Lisa and its proven spot on if you're having heavy rain now and indicates it could continue to 6pm.

Violent and heavy if you're under them. Been centred on Christchurch from what I can see.

Pirates usual 1 to 7

Redcar (subject to events at Plymouth the night before):  Wright, Riss R/R, Edwards, Andersen, Kerr, Newman, Jenkins.

This riding order should help Bears get a losing bonus point (Wright in the easier heat 8), but lessens their chances of a win!

Apparently they think forecast has rain stopping at 7.15 and will do track work and then riders will review it.
