AEPG Don’t own anything, they are tenants with a remit to develop the land, they only get paid, as do the EoEAS, when something is built. They can’t build anything without planning approval, one would assume that AEPGs contract with EoEAS says they have to maintain the Showground until something is built. The EoEAS still own the Showground.

Maintain to what level, if at all? As you know, the message from the EEAS is that AEPG no longer have staff to keep the site open, which is no doubt a factor in them not wanting us around in future. You'd have thought that the EEAS would bend their ear to let us run because that would at least keep some of the site in reasonable condition. Developers generally want no action on their sites so that they go to rack and ruin and then their unpopular proposal looks like progress as it refreshes the dump that they've presided over.,

Thanks for the Info ,  so the discussions of any further lease approval for the use of the track etc was carried out with the EoEAS then as someone else said it was AEPG who said no to any further lease ,

No. Discussions take place with AEPG, they run the Showground, they make the decisions on the development of the Showground. They are the EoEAS chosen developer.

That’s about the strength of it.

All very speedway really and you'd think that they'd want to steer clear of such association because their terminology is "our current promoter" :)

Can only guest for one team per tie. So as there are only 3 ties it ain't possible.

Sounds like he is about to let rip  regarding the situation too.

Can't help but feel he's been treated shabbily by Leicester.

Hope he goes on and does the businesses for Peterborough

Looks that Harris has been sacrificed as a result of the possible initial mistake in signing Batchelor for Morris,  they seemed to want to get Cook involved and has his average is higher than Batchelors and to free up enough space points wise they have looked at getting Worrall who will score well at BP and Cook in to fit points wise and it was Harris they decided to release most likely knowing Peterborough would be willing to take him back in place of Worrall .

I can't believe Harris thinks it's a good move for him. He was 3rd in the averages for Leicester, now being thrown in as a No1 his average is gonna take a dramatic hit, he's nowhere near that level anymore.

He's getting chewed & spat out vs other heatleaders
