Shouldn't you be changing Tomalin with Brady in that sentance !!

Very reliable source from someone extremely close to the club

Since CJ left Buster in the brown stuff, i think he's done his best for the team myself. Patryk, Laguta, Vadim and Harris in.

Maybe you could of had a team like that from the off with a "big" sponsor. Although my guess would be that someone is funding Laguta.

I've heard that Tomalin has done a big old runner and this is Buster stumping up for Artem. Maybe trying to give you a big send off?

Must still be around imo because someone other than Buster has to be paying for Laguta.

Laguta would've still been at KL with Lambert if Buster was paying for both as KL only have 5 riders now after injuries to Klindt and TJ.

But didn't Ipswich do the same with Craig Cook a few seasons ago ?

If they did he’d call that bonkers too and probably did. He doesn’t get blinded by club loyalty or bias.

Yep - all clubs have done. Doesn't matter who or when it's just not right

The 23rd being effective from the 1st is not the problem as such. It does help with general planning and order but if a redeclaration is being made that overrides that order anyway so imo new live averages should be used

Same with situations like Woofy be named as an injury replacement even though he wasnt available. The sole purpose was to ensure the 28 days ended prior to the transfer deadline

If he wasn't available the 28 day facility should not have been granted

The Laguta/Lambert and postponement farce another

Some will say "isn't it just great to have these riders back ". I'd say yes but not at the expense of any semblance of integrity (although accept that is thin on the ground regardless)

No doubt when the next installment of Sheffields magic roundabout kicks in we will see more hokey cokey games at Leicester too

The rules are written to be manipulated and every season theres the one that means a team ends up with a big advantage due in the main to what money's available ,

Speedway is now another sport full of cheats, wouldbe scammers and outright corruption  , coupled with scant or little regard for the everyday fans

In many ways will enjoy next season with no interests in any club,  at this stage i think from my personal thoughts i wont bother with anything speedway related again

As a PS

That Cook signing was the catalyst to me basically stopping attending

Up to then I hadn't missed a home meeting aside from planned holidays for around 35 years (effectively when I could attend unaccompanied)

I'd gone away most seasons to around 20-25% of meetings (work commitments prevented more)

One of the best most realistic posts I've ever read :t:

British speedway is a joke..2 months ago I would have been happy when it needed to happen but this merry go round at the end of the season when there is nothing to ride for just sums up what a tinpot league this is..

With the club's future still in the balance despite the outward messages then there is everything to ride for. We need publicity, good crowds and success on track. It's all come too late I agree but Laguta/Tarasenko and the other lads should fulfil two of those criteria and we need the crowds to turn up to fulfil the third.

The crowds have been there all season though despite the crap that they've had to put up with..do you think another couple of wins might prompt someone to buy what's left of the club and fund a new stadium?..I get what you're saying but I just can't take British speedway serious anymore and I guess this makes me more comfortable with losing the club..which I'm afraid is inevitable now...but I do hope I'm wrong.

Since CJ bailed. Buster has got Vadim. Paddy, Bomber and Laguta. MT was going to turn you into the "Man City of speedway" . I'll leave it there.

He's still around and working in the background with others to try and save the club
